I stayed at the Imperiall Palace (IP) for one night. The IP gives you the feeling a being in Vegas, but needs to tweak up some of it's services. The staff is friendly enough. I had visited this hotel before Katrina, and it was average at best. Was just there for a night, and I was very impressed. We had just spent a couple nights in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Went to the IP with 3 buddies to gamble and golf. Hotel rooms were cheap. Sheets were paper thin. The average age in the casino was 65+ and this was during spring break.
