They had a lot of really nice locally made jewelry here. Pretty good book and gift selection too. Local information was also available.

They show a 50 minute film twice a day that is an excellent account of how Biloxi experienced hurricane Katrina. The theatre is most accommodating. The visitor center also provides many displays of local art and provides any kind of information needed on the Biloxi area.

Was a great stop and fabulous for pics right by lighthouse and beach. Got great pics from the porch. Lots of great information and friendly staff. Great displays were a surprise.

Well I read reviews that talked about going upstairs to see the views from the balcony which we were denied due to wedding photos being taken.. downstairs had a huge amount of history of the light house and the city..

If you are interested in more than just the casinos, this should be one of your first stops. Housed in a beautiful building, the visitors center has an interesting little" museum" to introduce Biloxi, and to get suggestions and info on things to see and do.

Not only a lovely building, but also very informative. The gal at the front desk, Yvette, was extremely friendly and knowledgable. The 10min movie on Biloxi was good. There is a longer movie on Katrina which wasn't shown during our visit. This was a good first stop in Biloxi.

Went there several times while there. A nice 20 minute movie about Hurricane Katrina, very helpful staff, nice gift shop and great exhibits. Get there early (8:30) and tour the light house. Tours stop by 9:30 am.

This was a beautiful building and a delight to roam around. It was like a little museum. The tree sculptures were awesome. These were wood carvings made from the dead trees as a result of hurricane Katrina. Not only can you see them displayed here, but also along Highway 90 going west. A small gift shop. And a beautiful view... More

Staff was friendly. Neat old house. Exhibits interesting. Tasteful gift shop. Lots of brochures on area attractions. We went there so we could see the movie about Katrina but they only show it at certain times and we would have had to wait an hour to see it so we were disappointed.
