A destination in itself! The beautiful structure was built in the style of a home that stood there but was destroyed by Katrina. It is the epitome of southern architecture. Inside is all the info you will want, a museum, an art gallery, beautiful wood sculptures. Upon entering you feel as if you are walking into a living room in... More

A destination unto itself...be sure to walk through the exhibits of Biloxi's history, and ask to see the free movie about Katrina. the day I was there a wonderful Christmas fair was occurring and the local artisans were something to see.

If you want to start you visit to Biloxi and get some brochures or ideas on what to see and do, I recommend the Biloxi Visitor Center. The folks are very helpful and location is easy to get to right along highway 90. We enjoyed the movie about Katrina and its impact on Biloxi.

Some very friendly volunteers helped make this worthwhile. The film upstairs was short, but worthwhile.it was a good design to make a new building fit in, looking like a plantation house. I liked the model sailboat, built by a local artist, just as an example. Do it...it's free!

Free...very informative about the are. The Docent's are very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. Small gift shop with some nice articles from local artisans. BUT!!! beware. They don't take plastic. I don't carry much cash, anymore and rarely have a check with me. Luckily, I had a dog-warred old check hiding in my purse.

We loved all the small exhibits and the theater on the second floor with a wonderful video of the area after Katrina, which chronicled the clean up efforts.

This was my first Marti Gras, so I had several questions and the customer service rep was very patient, answered all of my questions and her tips were very helpful for our visit. I was pleased.
