We had some confusion we first arrived, Jan. 29. The Visitors Center was most useful in helping us find our friends and make arrangements for us to see some of the sights.

Beautiful building filled with warm people to greet you and encourage you to look around. There are carvings from post Katrina, a gift shop, history and a lot more!

This place is interesting. It shows different cultures of people who are from Biloxi and a film on Hurricane Katrina. More like a museum and a gift shop than a visitors center. Take time to look around but don't come prepared to look at the inside of the lighthouse as the tour times are extremely limited. Look on the website... More

We always visit a welcome or visitors center in a new location to get ideas during our stay. Besides being in a beautiful 24,000 sq foot house, this center is very welcoming and has more than information on the area. There is a museum and a "we are biloxi" film worth viewing.

Awesome visitors center with incredibly informative staff. Do not miss the film about the impact of hurricane Katrina on this lovely old city.

The lighthouse is right outside this beautiful building. The building houses tourist information as well as a museum for Biloxi history information. We went through the historical section, reading each section and watching the videos. It was fascinating to watch the history of this beautiful beachfront town progress through the 1900s into the 2000s.

We decided to spent a few days on the Gulf Coast while on our way to New Orleans. The visitor center was well staffed with helpful people and an abundant amount of local info. One thing we found out the hard way, was that local speed traps are abundant, especially in Waveland. With very high fines. In my opinion not a... More

Very informative. It really is a museum about Biloxi. Most welcoming and friendly staff. When in Biloxi: go here first.

A beautiful building resembling the former mansion built in the mid-eighteen hundreds and destroyed by hurricane Katrina in 2005. I recommend the 48 minute video about Katrina and the effect on the people living in Biloxi then and now. Although heartbreaking to view, it underscores the brave and amazing resiliency of these residents. To best understand Biloxi, I recommend making... More
