We had two adults and two young children. The 70 minute excursion was laid back, interesting and informative. We learned a lot about the shrimping and fishing industry. Our little net caught about 50 ponds of shrimp and other critters like a sting ray and catfish. Our kids were enthralled and the guide explained about each sea creature. I highly... More

We took our 7 & 3 year old out on this tour and they are still talking about it. The crew were very friendly, it lasted 1 1/2 hours, with 20 mins dragging the boat net. Heck, if you ever wanted to know anything about shrimping then take this tour. The kids had photo ops with different sizes of shrimp,... More

We just got back from the "Shrimp Tour" the tour was very informative and a lot of fun. Did I expect us to go out to the Gulf and reel in a thousand pounds of shrimp? Hell no! I think it was clear that this was a tour is designed to give a very good idea of the equipment and... More

My husband and I stayed in Biloxi for our 13th Wedding Anniversary the first weekend in April, and had booked a fishing trip for only $38.50 a person. We had to be there at 6:30am that Saturday morning. We boarded the Sail Fish and away we went. It was not too many people and we had plenty of room. One... More

My wife & I thought the shrimp boat excursion was great. The crew was excellent and very knowledgeable about shrimping and the history of the Gulf Coast area. Not only is it a great way to learn about shrimping and the history of Biloxi, you get a wonderful view of the Bay area from the water. The cost is very... More

So amazingly fun and educational. Learned about local environmental science, great places to eat, and a new appreciation for America and local business. Dave and Mike were phenomenal and friendly sharing their love for Biloxi. They taught my family and me all about shrimping, let us feed pelicans and we even saw a dolphin! I wish I had gone my... We decided on the 10:30 AM trip and left the harbor right on time. David, our deckhand, was extremely informative and explained the entire process of catching shrimp, the different species of shrimp and the biology and science that is involved in harvesting shrimp in the Gulf of Mexico. About 20 minutes into the trip David pointed out a large... More

I rated it a 4 because the boat ride was only a loop in the Mississippi Sound. However, it's a great way to learn about shrimping. The guide was entertaining while educating us on the method and science behind shrimping. Great family trip - we, unfortunately, did not catch much - but we were here before the season began. Great... More

We had a great time. The two guides were very knowledgeable and would answer questions. Very patient too! It was better to be on the bottom deck because they show you all the fish/shrimp/crabs etc that you catch. It is not shrimping season right now, so we didn't catch many shrimp, but he explained it is because the waters have... More

`We did the tour, thinking of seeing lots of shrimp in the big net. Very disappointing! Just a few tiny creatures in the net. It was obviously the wrong season. Early March.
