Was a great beach! Water was warm. Very clear. Beach was not too crowded. The breeze coming off the water was nice. Definitely recommend a chair/umbrella rental if you get the chance. It was nice to have a covered place to put things and to get out of the sun. The boat trip to the island was nice. Lasts about... More

Once you get pass the extremely hot walk and get to the tour and island you are in heaven. Don't forget your hat, sunglasses and lotion. You can bring your own goodies, but there is also treats for sale. You can also rent an umbrella and chair.. It's a must do. You'll feel like your in a different country!

Enjoyed the Fort tour and the information we received there. The beach was wonderful and felt safe with alot of families there. The facilities were clean and the people there were very friendly.

After trying to visit the Biloxi local beaches and being pretty much disgusted, we were told to take the Ferry to Ship Island. Very reasonable food and drink prices and gorgeous beach. Umbrella's and chairs for rent, great beach, you could see fish, sting rays, etc. It was a great day and we would have done it two days in... More

Such a fun family trip. The hour long boat ride was fun. We saw dolphins on the way out. There is snacks to buy on the boat. The island is beautiful. Pretty sand and clear water. Hard to believe your in Mississippi. There is a snack bar with very affordable food. They also have a small beach shop. For $2.00... More

After reading the other reviews here on Tripadvisor before we went, we decided to pack a cooler with lunch and drinks. We took the early boat out and opted to rent the chairs and umbrella. My family and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and reluctantly took the last boat back that evening. Clean beach, great facilities, reasonably priced gift/concessions, friendly staff -... More

Monday Morning, we boarded the boat to take us to Ship Island West. $54. for two people. Another $25 for two chairs and an umbrella. (They encourage you not to bring too much, since you have to carry it a half mile across the island.) Beach was clean, sand was hot and the weather was beautiful. The kids were excited... More

Had a wonderful time and a great trip to Ship Island. The staff is friendly and amazing. The hour boat ride awesome. Saw dolphins on the way there and on the way back. The gift shop has some super affordable stuff. They certainly do not take advantage of anyone. Sodas are a buck, snack bar on the island affordable. You... More

Our family had so much fun. The beach was clean and the snack bar had a great assortment of lunch foods, including chicken wraps. The boat ride to and from was epic. We saw tons of dolphins. We will go back.
