The water reminded me of Padre Island Texas and the Fort Morgan Alabama beach. Keep in mind that EVERYTHING you bring... More

The water was beautiful the whole stretch of the island. The sand, however, in a few spots was not as clean as others.... More

Not a lot to do right now. Obviously still recovering from hurricane. Not a lot of shade to get out of the hot sun.

The boat ride over was fun with views of birds, boats, shore line and DOLPHINS playing/jumping in the water! I did think there was a narrative to go along with ride but there isn't. Boat ride takes about 65 mins each way but is sheltered from the sun! Coast guard LAW requires life jackets for EACH rider/staff and the benches... More

Cattle call for all members of the Lost TV show or anyone who would have like to been an extra...this one's for you....Should you decide to leave your hotel which had a pool, you will spend 27 dollars per person to get to Ship Island..its takes about an hour to get there..which at least gives you some breeze. Only comment... More

Really enjoyed the day on ship island. Ferry ride was nice and breezy in the hot weather. Just be prepared to walk across island to beach area. Boardwalks are A+
