The National Eagle Center was great. The events such as the live Eagle and live bird show were educational as well as a lot of fun!

Informative and in March there are Eagles up and down the river. We watched the eagle demo and took in a bird photo class that also was free. Right across the river is Nelson Cheese factory with lots of choices of Wisconsin cheese. The local gift shops and art were also a draw for me. It was easy to get... More

We were taken there by some friends, who highly recommended this place. The place was a large, glass and steel construction, very light and airy, the shop had a good range of trinkets and the usual T shirts, caps and mugs. The staff were very helpful, friendly and took pride in there work, these of course are volunteers, they are... More

Such a lovely educational experience where you and the kids can learn all about eagles and raptors in general. Getting to see them live and up-close is truly spectacular!

So worth the trip. Attended a couple great programs. We happened to visit on their busiest weekend if the year. The rescued Eagles are up close and personal. Super cool. Great learning experience. Definitely AMERICAN!!

This is the fifth consecutive year that I have gone to the National Eagle Center. This year friends joined us and they were so very impressed! Even though we have been there frequently, we still go to the presentation. It is not repetitious ever and includes new and different information! The displays were updated and we were told that the... More

The eagle center is a fun place to visit. Views from the deck and outside areas show the river and often have eagles flying over. There are classroom sessions available that are animated and interesting for all ages.

Arrived there just as the doors were opening. Saw a bald eagle sitting in a tree across the river through a telescope. Loved seeing the live eagles up close. Huge birds!! Lots of informartive displays to see.

The opportunity to see close up and experience some of the previously injured and rehabilitated golden or bald eagles at their facility is simply amazing. You can get a much better appreciation for the size and scale of these birds, along with their habits during the interpretive program. Great place for viewing during the right season, as well as a...
