My entire family agrees, this was the highlight of our trip. This center does a wonderful job of introducing their eagles to you and showing off what they can do. You do have to pay a fee to enter and see the presentation but it is more than worth it! The view outside the museum is beautiful as well.

My family really enjoyed the eagle center. We loved being so close to the Eagles. It was an experience you can't get anywhere else. The classroom program was excellent. It held the attention of my entire family. My kids 7 and 9 years old were fascinated by watching the eagle eat right in front of them. You don't ha en... More

We loved the program that they have 3 times a day. It was enjoyed by everyone - kids and teens and adults. The site is beautiful and the staff knows a lot about the area and about the birds. Highly recommend this stop.

The museum does a good job teaching visitors (especially children) the bald eagle biology and conservation basics. We attended one of the daily programs, which was fine, but very obviously designed for children, not adults. (The approach may be grating for some grown-ups). My husband, who has some training in museum design, thought the exhibits could use more coherence and... More

Not only is the center right on the river, it's a great building and visit. You pay a small fee to enter, which all goes to the center so I couldn't complains. I saw the eagle show, which was a information session on Eagles. It was informative, but there's no age limit, so it was a lot of young kids... More

I learned a lot about eagles, like their nests can be so large, once a black bear was found hibernating in one. And much more, in the 45 minute presentation.

not only an educational visit about eagles, it also reflected on other predatory birds or raptors. the class is informative but many of the teaching can be learned throughout the buildings self tour. the passing of all the laminated pictures were a little excessive. very neat to see the captive eagles up close. we also witnessed several eagles flying outside... I'm not sure how long the eagle center has been here but it looks new and beautiful! It's right on the Mississippi so the resident eagles can watch over their territory while you check them out. They even made some noise for us when they spotted other eagles in their territory! Following an enthusiastic and informative presentation we watched the... More

Well worth the stop. Entry fees are minimal and go towards furthering the mission of wildlife conservation. Passionate people, entertaining, engaging, and awe-inspiring.
