The visit was fun and exciting seeing the Eagles up close. Seeing the different things there and the eagle's point of view, so to say, was fun.

We have been to Wabasha several times and finally took the time to visit the National Eagle Center. This is a beautiful facility right on the Mississippi. We were lucky enough to be there during a feeding time so that was really interesting to see. The center is not as big as I thought it would be but there was... More

Great facility on the attractive Wabasha waterfront. From the outside in, I enjoyed all the time at this excellent center and hope to return. Met 3 eagles! Oral presentation by a curator while she was feeding salmon to a really big eagle was first rate. The center is organized very well so could walk through and learn a lot about... More

Plenty of interactive experiences and opportunities for adults and kids alike to learn about eagles and their environment. The facility is well-organized, attractive, sunny and open. Having worked with wildlife and raptors in particular, I didn't learn much in the way of anything new, but that is just my own particular experience- I think for the average nature-lover, the information... This beautiful facility sits right on the river overlooking some prime eagle locations in the wild. The staff are amazing with their knowledge and care of the eagles. There are usually 3 classroom programs where live eagles are brought in. Great for all ages. Winter usually brings most of the Eagles into the area, however, there are several permanent residents... We brought our friends from Northern Wisconsin to view the Eagles because they had just talked about their son, a principle of a newly combined school and they called the new mascot "The Screaming Eagles." We found the book there of the story and we got a lot more information on how the Eagle has always been set as an... More

Great place to visit to learn all about Eagles. Beautiful scenery and great displays in the interpretive center plus we attended a presentation by one of the employees which was most informative and lasted about an hour--even included a live Eagle. This river town was all decked out with fall decorations making our visit extra special. This was our second... More

If you want to learn more about eagles this is the place to come. They have a nice educational presentation put on every couple hours, where they bring in the Eagles and feed them. It is definitely worth the trip. They have a wide variety of educational things about eagles and other native Minnesota birds. The building there is new... More
