Wabasha may not be on your way, but this unique nature center is worth driving out of your way! Pretty drive along the 'ol Miss is an added bonus. The National Eagle Center has several Bald eagles as well as a golden in residence ( all rescued birds). They give 3 live presentations a day, so check their schedule. The... More

Seeing the eagles live and in person, was fantastic. We enjoyed walking around the center and learning a lot about them. It is worth staying and going to one of their demonstations in the classrooms, we learned a ton. This place is great for a day trip or an outing.

Very informative and the layout of the center was easy to navigate. The presentation by the staff was great. It was worth the trip. The staff greeted us right away and told us when the show time was. Didn't feel pressured to donate to the center. Liked being able to see an eagle close up.

I took my six-year old niece here and we both thoroughly enjoyed it--starting with the drive there! The drive to Wabasha is beautiful. The forty-five minute presentation is a must-attend. We both learned a lot. The presenter was able to answer everyone's questions from size of the eagle's brain to their hearing ability, etc. The exhibits are well done as... More

It is everything and more. To see Eagles flying around the Mississippi and around my sons' home, near the Mississipi is awesome. The Eagle Center is for everyone and very educational. They even have a couple of eagles they use to educate people that had been injured a while ago. While in Wabasha, it's a must-see

We love going here on the weekends. Our daughter loves it so much she asked to have a birthday party there, they made it happen and we would recommend going to anyone near and far.

This museum really caters to eagle watchers and lovers and if you are one of them, you will not be disappointed. If you go at the right time of year, just getting to the museum is plenty enjoyable if you want to see eagles. The viewing along the Mississippi just north of Winona is excellent. We saw more than a... More
