We were admittedly a bit lost when we came across Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona, but we could not have found a better place to stumble into. The location was beautiful, the wine was fantastic, and our hostess was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (and spoke great English). So happy we made this stop, and excited for the wine we bought to arrive... More

We had an outstanding visit to Ciacci Picolomini d'Aragona. We were met the the impressive and knowledgeable hostess, Nicoletta Nafi. She was excellent, informative and answered our questions in great detail. We toured the entire grounds and production facility. The tasting she arranged was magnificent and focused on their high end wines. We purchased a good number of their wines... More

We visited Ciacci Picolomini d'Aragona last September with our family and friends for a wine tasting and visit. I must confess that I have been to Ciacci Picolomini d'Aragona before on more than one occasion. Ciacci Picolomini d'Aragona does not disappoint and they get better with age just like their wine. Their new wine tasting area is incredible as well... More

This place is amazing. Located in the middle of Tuscany countryside, you can find a great selection of wine to taste and to buy. Plus a guided visit to their cellars. The staff is very kind and willing to explain everything about the wine you're tasting. Totally recommended!

On the recommendation of a L.A. wine merchant and corroboration via tripadvisor, our group of 3 couples arranged a wine tasting at Ciacci Piccolomini d"Aragona, near Montalcino in mid October 2014. We were also advised to schedule no more than two "formal" tastings in a day- which was good advice. The experience at Ciacci Piccolomini was totally wonderful. Since we... More

We had a great trip to Italy, and this winery visit was one of the highlights. My local wine retailer recommended Ciacci as the best tour in Montalcino, and he was absolutely correct. Our guide, Lucrezia Messina, was extremely knowledgeable and delightful. We tasted six wines and cold cuts which were all excellent. If possible, you should visit with a... More

We booked visit. The girl showing us around was extremely knowledgeable. She explained the history of the cellar and then showed us all the production stages. At then end we had the opportunity to taste three wines (Nobile di Montalcino, Brunello and a reserve one). The cost was 15 euros per person

Loved this story of how the winemaker ended up as the heir to this historical estate. His son and daughter appear to be doing an awesome job establishing this as a dominant Brunello. Great facilities and eye-opening tour was topped by some very good wine. Looking forward to having some more when we get back to the states.
