It was a beutiful Sunday so we took the kids to family day at the park. They had fun watching the horses before the races and picking their favorite horse to win. You could watchthe race from inside or go to the fence like we did. Lots for the kids to do also. Face-painting, petting zoo, pony rides. The little... More

I have lived in Shakopee my whole life and Canterbury is my favorite attraction in the metro. I especially love live horse racing season in the summer. It's fun for all ages with plenty of food and drink options. Grab a drink and walk outside to enjoy the intense and exciting live horse racing atmosphere.

Had a wonderful evening watching the horses race. It was a beautiful night, the beer was good, and we watched the blue moon come up over the big screen.

I've been coming here for ten years and I could say the new Sat night Mexican buffet was by far one of the best meals I've ever had here. The new chef they brought in has absolutely turned the buffet around. I've never had a bad meal yet and have had it numerous times this year. I would highly recommend... More

Even with the recent changes to food offerings on Thursday Buck Nights (hot dogs are now $2), the beer prices can't be beat, and admission and programs are only $1. You can still find cheap good food, like the slider brats that are 2 for $3 upstairs. Cheap, fun night out, as long as you're not a degenerate gambler. Note... More

Thursdays at the track is always fun and busy. $1 entrance, $1 programs, $1 hot dogs. Beer is cheap and watching the races is always a good time

Lots of fun! No really clue how to bet on the horses but eventually figured it out. My son won a long shot. The weather was great. Pizza and ice cream cheap.

We were her for the final leg of the Triple Crown. The atmosphere was excellent. The horse racing was exciting and the food was great. They had a bunch of food trucks on site so there was a lot of choices for eating. American Pharoah won the Triple Crown so it was even better! We will be back!

We have been to several greyhound tracks but never had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at a real horse track. Parking was easy and admission very reasonable. We sat outdoors at a table under a shade umbrella on a pleasant day and had a great time. We bet small amounts to "show" and came out even on betting. The... More

Cool games. Good dealers. Took my money but I really did enjoy myself. Great A/C. Played pai gow and stood a chance. Not so much on the free bet blackjack. Drinks brought to our table in timely manner. Professional staff.
