There is so much to see and do on Grand! A great place to people watch, talk a stroll, check out a new place to eat. It can be hard to find parking.

We live two blocks from Grand Avenue in St. Paul, and we walk here plenty. It's not too urban, I consider us living in the city being two blocks from Grand, but it's quiet and actually pretty small and cozy and charming. No street noise or tall buildings and we have sidewalks and homes close together. The homes around Grand... More

Grand Avenue offers a great array of unique shops like Foxglove, where one can find some antiques and collectibles as well as fresh, organically-grown flowers. If you're looking for a small locally-owned cafe, this street gives you several options including ethnic and organically centered choices. Parking is at a premium at times, so plan to check out some of the... More

Recommend a drive along Summit Ave to check out an impressive neighborhood of beautiful homes and then circling back down Grand Avenue. You can find many good spots along this couple mile strip of Grand Avenue to stop, shop, and eat/drink.

Street not that impressive---certainly not grand. But a few small cafés that were good. Not chain restaurants so a different experience.

Beautiful neighborhood. Houses were jaw-dropping. Shops? Restaurants? There were some but not a whole lot. If you're expecting a Harvard Square or Grand Rapids downtown you'll be disappointed. Good area for biking...dedicated bike lanes.

This is the best spot in St. Paul to hang out. Shops, really good restaurants, coffee shops, etc. not all in same area, expect to do some walkin, but that is part of the fun.

Scenic, relaxed and dotted with great shops. Clothing, cookware, specialty shops and eaterys are all within an easy amble of large parking lots. Stop in at the Yarnery where you will find a unique collection of natural fibers, beautifully displayed, and helpful knowledgeable staff.
