This street in the neighborhood up the hill from downtown is a terrific place to spend time. The nostalgic feel is second to none and there are many good opportunities for shopping, dinner, dessert or coffee. It is a great place to step back into time while still having modern amenities at the ready.

This is a great place to go for a walk, grab a bite to eat, have a beer or do a little shopping. By far one of my absolute favorite places in St. Paul. There's a lot of character to the buildings and lots of history. There's also the Grand ol' days celebration that happens every year, that starts off... More

Grand Avenue is a must visit in St. Paul. There are too many places to list. You can park and walk the entire street. You will find shopping and restaurants. Shopping is a little pricey. Enjoy.

Food at all price points and all tastes - Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, BBQ - it's all there. Leave room for the homemade ice cream. It is delicious!

Grand Avenue is still grand. There are a lot of neat places along the 25 blocks or so. In the last few years some national stores have invaded but plenty of locals still have stores there. While in the area try Selby and Marshall which have a lot of locally owned places too. Great neighborhoods. To get the best out... More

The quaint historic buildings utilized as Shopping and dining is so much better than malls. Just wish #63 bus more frequent. and snow removal better.

Grand Avenue is a unique neighborhood that has something for everyone and changes in personality as one travels from Dale Street to the end near Cretin Avenue. There are many interesting shops, eateries and businesses along the way whether you're looking for a gift...dinner...coffee....some kind of service, pretty much anything can be found somewhere on Grand Avenue
