We came over spring break in april, it was so busy! Because the zoo is "free", there were some questionable groups...i never felt un safe...but more so disappointed at the lack of supervision over ones children or the activities others did around my child. If i knew it was going to be so busy i would have paid the money... More

Liked getting to walk inside to see the animals and flowers. The crazy Polar Bear freaked us out when he got up from swinging head back and forth. Excited to see how all everything looks when all the construction is done. Been going here for years.

Como Zoo is an excellent attraction giving you an opportunity to visit a mini Forest kind of conservatory, Flower shows during different periods of time as well as a compact Zoo. I liked seeing Betel plants and Neem tree mainly due to the reason that Betel is taken after food in South of India but I have never seen the... More

This place is always great to visit. I love to come here with my wife when the weather is still cold. Nothing is better than walking out of a blizzard and into the rainforest room. You can get real close to a hand full of animals and enjoy some of the zoos free shows. Definitely check out the conservatory. There's... More

I have been going here ever since I was young and still enjoy and appreciate the conservatory. There is such a variety of plants and floral with several rooms to walk through each with their own agenda. The room where wedding pictures are taken is huge with spectacular floral arrangements and a winter flower show is put on here every... More

We stopped at the Zoo/conservatory after reading about it in TA and it was awesome. It was 40 degrees and the 3rd of April, but it didn't matter. Went in the main entrance and was immediately hit with an aroma of sweet flowers. The kids were really entertained in the conservatory room with birds flying all over and a live... More

Last year we saw the orchid festival, it was awesome. So many wonderful orchids, very nice walk around. Plus it's free, donations are accepted. It can be tricky to fund parking though.

The Conservatory and the Zoo are a perfect place to spend an afternoon. To the west of the park there is a kiddie amusement park for the kids. The Zoo has a wide variety of animals. The conservatory has more than an abundance of flora, flowers and beautiful greens.

Plenty to do at Como! Mini golf, ride rides, check out the animals and wander through the conservatory. Parking can be a challenge at times but you will be walking anyway. We like como much more than the Minnesota zoo. A must go!

Como Zoo is a gem. Families for decades have enjoyed this city's treasure with outdoor picnics; views of animals are accessible (as compared to the huge MN zoo where the animals are hard to spot and one is exhausted by the sheer size.) We love the conservatory and Japanese garden. Como Town, the amusement park, is always a delight for... More
