I loved this place, as well as my children. It is a well kept zoo and gardens that only requires donations for admission. It has a great variety of animals for viewing, the most stunning gardens I have ever seen, and a small amusement area for the little ones that includes bumper cars and similar type rides. I will visit this... More

Beautiful and magical. Plants were so healthy almost seemed unreal. Ground were well kept. Parking lot a bit of a trek to the Conservatory.

Having grown up in St Paul, I always go visit Como Park when I'm up there, winter or summer. I especially love the holiday Poinsettia display they have during the winter. The weather outside is often bitter cold, but once inside its amazing! They have every color or poinsettia imaginable. Highly recommend the Conservatory.

The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory has been a staple in St Paul since I was a little kid, and is now a "go to" for my kids as well. My kids have grown up visiting there, my wife and I had our wedding pictures taken in the Conservatory, it's just an inxpensive place the whole family can enjoy. In... More

My family and I went to check out the conservatory in late September and everything still looked beautiful! Although we didn't go to the zoo, the conservatory was still enough for us to spend an afternoon walking around and enjoying. It's, literally, for all ages as we had a 3 month old baby and a 95 year old great grandma... More

Nice place and great for kids. Adults will enjoy the conservatory. This is an inexpensive to bring the family. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the park.

We happened on this Zoo by chance having already been to the bigger Minnesota Zoo a few miles down the road. Each has their own different charms and in the case of Como Zoo it is the compact nature of the place, you could probably blitz it in less than an hour but then who would? We spent about an... More

Maybe my happy childhood memories of Como Zoo are influencing my opinion, but I love this little zoo. We took our children and now grandchildren. It is a family tradition worth starting! First of all it's free, it's not to much for youngsters or oldsters to walk, on the days you have a little more cash go over to the... More

The Conservatory is a great place to visit with its various rooms that focus on different environments and their appropriate plants. The main room has changing exhibits all around the long pond full of large Koi. It is a grand room all glassed in and many people have their wedding photos taken there. The zoo is a manageble size and they... More
