The cost of free is hard to beat. I would suggest a donation; the gardens are lovely and the animals are always fun and engaging. The polar bear brothers Buzz and Neil are my favorite! Enjoy!

This is one of St. Paul's best attraction. With the monkeys, giraffes, zebras, gorillas, and many other animal exhibits, it is marvelous way to learn about the many animal and species from many parts of the world. The grounds are beautiful. The conservatory exhibits and variety of flowers. In the summertime Como Park offers an amusement park for the enjoyment... More

The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory is a great place. We spent a day and 1/2 there and didn't make it throught. It is clean, the animals are well taken care of, the grounds are beautiful and the volunteers are so knowledgeable. Loved the carousel ride. Suggested donation to enter, not required. You will definitely want to "pay" your donation... More

This review is for a Conservatory visit only: I love this place ~ it's a true St. Paul treasure! Their seasonal flower shows are simply amazing. The fern room, bonsai exhibit & Japanese garden should not be missed either! This is a great place for young & old alike: a wonderful respite from the ever-changing MInnesota weather, especially in winter.... More

This is a small zoo. There is not an admission fee. They do have a donation box you can contribute to. This zoo can be easily seen in a few hours. The conservatory is quite nice as well. There is a sea lion show. It was a favorite of my children when they were smaller.

Had a free afternoon while in St. Paul, so my wife (Born there) wanted to go back to the Conservatory. I was impressed with the variety of the plantings and creativity there. We both enjoyed a restful afternoon wandering the many rooms and seeing the many blooms. Friendly atmosphere.

We came here with our local friend to spend some time with the animals. We only went to the zoo part, not the conservatory. If we had more time, we would have done both. Anyway, the zoo is creatively laid out. indoor and outdoor areas for most animals and you can get unique point of views of the animals (like... More

I heard this was pretty nice but never checked it out until we had the granddaughter with us. It is inexpensive (donation requested) so I was thinking there must not be much there. I was wrong. We spent a large portion of the day but still didn't see it all. Next time, we will get an all day wrist band... More

This is an older zoo that is trying to modernize. They have some nice animal displays. The conservatory is gorgeous. Beautiful plants and gardens. The Japanese garden is well worth the trip. I loved the bonsai.
