Visiting the grandkids in this area and found this wonderful park. Great place for little tikes to see a few animals and enjoy a picnic. This zoo is free but they ask for a donation, which is OK. A little amusement park is next to the zoo which makes this a very handy place for little ones. Thanks

Really nice zoo, especially for free, of course they ask for donations and we did but it's not mandatory. Great animals and not huge park, so easy walk for smaller kids. Good variety and animals were cool to see. Only negative is parking, hard to find a spot and going to have to walk no matter what.

We visited the zoo on a Saturday morning, and even after arriving just 15 minutes after they opened, parking was a nightmare and there were tons of people already. I could see why they suggested parking at the State Fairgrounds and taking their shuttle. We found a spot on the street (almost right off the main road) and walked quite... More

We loved taking our 3 year old to visit Como Park Zoo. It was just the right size for a short zoo visit. The animals were amazing! We couldn't believe the variety. They had all the animals are some was itching to see (with the exception of elephants). We enjoyed the Sparky Show and loved, loved, loved the gorillas and... More

We had been to the zoo about 10 years ago. Although it was nice to see the animals we felt the animals looked depressed .the giraffes and orranatangs were the only ones that didnt look like that. We do not remember this years ago when we visited .The conservatory and Japanese gardens were very nice. There is no fee to... More

This park is great for family picnics, a place to bring the kids, a date, a place to unwind. There are many things for the kids to do. There is an amusement park, the animals, ball fields, large open spaces. The conservatory is beautiful, they have different displays for different holidays in the sunken gardens. There is a Japanese garden... More

We arrived before the place opened and it was perfect. There are many trails and gardens to look at without going in and coming as early as we did, it was quiet and peaceful. We walked around the zoo and saw the animals but the star of the show for me was the conservatory. The japanese garden was quaint but... More

This has to be one of the best zoos around. Not only do you get to actually get up close and personal with the animals, but they give timely shows. They have animals that you don't get to see at some zoos. They have shuttle service to the zoo. :) The best part is the zoo is free!

I loved it here! I thought the conservatory was very beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The zoo was entertaining. The price was right, too! We will visit again when we come back to this area.
