The Zoo and Conservatory have been extensively upgraded during the last three years, and the tropical rain forest extension that has been built on between the Zoo and the Conservatory is quite lovely. My family loves to go to Como Zoo. It's free; and this is a zoo you would pay for. You are guaranteed to see animals. It is small enough to do in a day or half a day (for those with nappers). Purchasing minnows to feed the seals is a tradition dating back to my childhood. The amusement park area... more

I have been to the Como Conservatory many times and to the Como Zoo once. Its a great place to visit and an affordable place as well. All they ask is that you give a few dollar donation when you visit. Its open year around. In the winter, visiting the conservatory is a wonderful way to get out of the... more
