I have sat in many different parts of the Ordway, and the only section to which I would not return would be the box seat area set at a right angle to the stage. It's fun to be close to the action, but annoying to have to turn your head to see it. Sunday's matinee performance of "Evita," was a... More

I recently attended Evita here and was disappointed we were not able to make out the faces of the cast. We also had a difficult time hearing some of the performance. I was in the back row of the mezzanine and while I didn't pay for the great seats I did expect to hear the performance if not be able... More

I go to the Ordway a lot. In the last year, we have gone to the symphony, to the Wizard of Oz (AMAZING), to Bring It On, and to a Grease Sing a Long. I find the Ordway to be charming. And most of the seats are quite good. They have boosters for kids. My warning with regards to seats... More

Took wifey to see Evita at the Ordway for her birthday and had a good time. The facility was superb for a musical and our seats were close to the stage and quite comfortable. The cast did a nice job of performing but probably a bit less than would be found on Broadway. Ushers were accommodating and vey helpful which... More

I'm new to the Twin Cities area, so I was looking forward to my first visit to the Ordway in downtown St. Paul. The facility itself was great. I'd definitely see a different show there. I sat in Row P on the Orchestra section, and felt very close with the performance going on. That was pretty cool. People were very... More

A great place to see a performance. There is not really any bad seats in the house. The prices are reasonable for the type of shows that they put on.

Beautiful concert hall with outstanding acoustics. Top notch artists play and sing with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

The Ordway is sort of old an fashioned venue with outstanding acoustics and a cuddly feeling inside. It lies in a very European setting next to Rice Park, a renovated gangster era federal courthouse, some very grand hotels and a few streets full of restaurants and night clubs. Go in the evening for better parking but watch out for NHL... More

Always fun to go to the Ordway and have dinner at the Meritage. There are no bad seats at the theater that we have had over the years. Porgy was not quite what we expected and a little hard to follow. My fault, I should have read the theme before, but Ann is a Gershwin fan so she explained a... More

I have had season tickets for 20 years. All performances have been top notch. It is worth the investment for an enjoyable time.
