My wife and I have been taking our family of 5 - 3 boys - to the fair for years. The boys are all teens now but still enjoy going with Mom an Dad. We have a routine of how we walk around, the favorite foods we must have, the new ones to try and the busing a to walk... More

The fair was the best adventure ever, it had rides, food, live stock, live bands, shows, and shopping. The live TV shows was great. The area was easy to get to and from via bus $5 round trip. I would go again.

I has been 9 years since we have been to the Minnesota State Fair. As a kid growing up in St. Paul, it was an annual event! We had perfect weather. Its a place where you just wander around and look at things. There is everything you can imagine. And of course you MUST eat! Eat everything you're not suppsed... More

It's been a few years since I'd been to the fair. This year I chose to volunteer for an organization which provided a free ticket for admission, a tee-shirt and a pre-fair dinner. My partner and I also found a promotion - two tickets/free admission for test-driving an electric car at a twin cities dealer, which we were interested in... More

For over a century, the Minnesota State Fair has played host to millions of visitors. Starting as an agricultural exhibition, over the years, the attraction has had an astounding number of associated events from daredevil wing walking flyers, car racers to great big butter sculptures, and of course, the delicacies and delights of the midway. In the 12 days of... More

Another great year at the fair, since I have a booth I'm. A little biased. This is my 53rd straight year at the fair and every year I love it more. I still like the lobster macaroni and cheese the best. Can't wait until next year

Gluten Free Food List is growing! No problem eating here anymore! We love to walk through the Arts Buildings and Technology Building. We had a great time! Frequent Info stations with helpful volunteers!

Wow, Minnesotans really know how to throw a party! Loved the food, the attractions and the entertainment. Minnesota offers free shuttle service to the fair grounds via park and ride areas in the vicinity of the fair grounds and many people take advantage of this. Also, I loved that I didn't have to pay $4.00 for a bottle of water,... More

It didn't disappoint and the gastronomical delights keep getting better. Glad the kids are out of the house because this place can be expensive.

Food: So many amazing good things to eat: the Walleye Mac & Cheese was amazing! Grilled corn and red peppers, lots of walleye, smoked gouda cheese with the noodles - at Giggles. Of course the Leinenkugel beer is FRESH and plentiful - goes great with the free concerts in their amphitheater. Watch animals being born in the birthing barn. Seeing... More
