If you are in St Paul Minnesota a couple of weeks before Labor Day, go to the Minnesota State Fair. It is by far the largest, cleanest, most interesting State Fair I have been to. Plan on spending an entire day, you won't run out of things to do. The midway is probably like most other fairs, pretty much the... More

Really nothing to dislike. Maybe....crowds during State Fair time if you hate crowds. Food is interesting and unlimited exhibits. One, if not best, State Fairs in the country.

Fun times at the Fair, not inexpensive, and a lot of vendors stopped taking credit cards, that used to take them. Mancini's for example.... Great people watching, lots of unusual things and people to look at.

We have been going to the Fair for 30 years and it is as much fun as it has always been. We try to stay close at a hotel in the area and take the shuttle, which makes it a lot easier than trying to get parking on site. However, if you get there early, then parking in one of... More

Had a great time. So much to see and do that you need more than one day. I love all the free entertainment. I plan on going every year!

On our annual trip to the state fair we had to actually park away from teh fair grounds. Usually we're able to park in one of the lots near the entrances but this year we parked about a mile away and still had to pay for parking!

The fair was the best adventure ever, it had rides, food, live stock, live bands, shows, and shopping. The live TV shows was great. The area was easy to get to and from via bus $5 round trip. I would go again.

I has been 9 years since we have been to the Minnesota State Fair. As a kid growing up in St. Paul, it was an annual event! We had perfect weather. Its a place where you just wander around and look at things. There is everything you can imagine. And of course you MUST eat! Eat everything you're not suppsed... More
