Plummer House is a beautiful home and gardens hidden in a residential area. The grounds are open to the public unless a private event is being held. A beautiful place to have family photos taken. We have also attended outdoor weddings in the gardens. During the summer, you can do a self guided tour of the home on Wednesday afternoons... More

This historic landmark truly is one of Rochester's gems. The gardens and grounds are open to the public as long as there aren't any private events going on. The grounds provide a perfect backdrop for pictures. I try to come here every year to take my daughter's birthday pictures.

This is a stately old home site turned park. If you can find it (get directions before you head out!) it's a wonderful spot for a picnic on a blanket or just a quiet stroll through the lawns and gardens.

The house was not open to tour when I was there. Just was able to drive up to it and admire the outside and read about it. I will take a tour next time if available.

The Plummer house is the very historic home of Henry and Daisy Plummer. Dr. Plummer worked at the Mayo Clinic with the Mayo Brothers. He developed many new inovative ideas for the Clinic and his own home. The public can tour the home and learn of its history and of the items that remain from the family. You can also... More

Hard to believe this beauty is hiding right there in the city. Positively gorgeous property to wander around and enjoy the tranquility. Quiet moments in the lower garden near one of the fountains surrounded by lush green grass and beautiful flowers. A wonderful respite and a stunning home.

Hard to believe this is a city park and the grounds are often open to the public. I've been there for weddings and other receptions. A very beautiful house and you can have about 100 in attendance at events. The grounds are amazing and the house, when you are in it for an event, is fun because you can walk... More

A grand home, bult in the style of an English Manor. This hoe is preserved with the furnisjhing as trimmings of the time of the last ownere and gives a good insight into how life was lived.
