I have been to the Plummer House for a number of events, each time I still get a little tickle of excitement to visit such a wonderful - centrally located - historic site. If I ever had boundless funds of money, I would buy it and live there.

The Plummer House is an attraction not to be missed in the Rochester area. Old world charm, beautiful furniture, very interesting architecture. Something new around every corner! This mansion is very well kept. Many public events are hosted here, yet it does not show public wear and tear. There is an on-sight care taker who probably makes sure the home... More

Attended a wedding here. Lovely venue, from a guest perspective. Would love to go back and look around some more.

We used to have our holiday parties here for where I work and everybody really appreciated that we could use the space. The parking is a little small of that type of thing though. Also during late spring and early summer the gardens are in full bloom and are free for anybody to walk around. It is a very quiet... More

Most beautiful place for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful to explore in summer when flowers are blooming. We never cared much for the inside of the house. Unless you want kcal history I don't think the house tour is worth the cost. The outside porches, and fountain gardens and paths are very beautiful.

Beautiful place, it has so much peace on it! Its has an amazing garden with a small lake, beautiful trees, the house is really big and the towers looks as a tower tale!

This is a must see! Its a beautiful historic house that overlooks Rochester. It's open to the public so you can walk around the gardens. I wish I could have seen the inside of the house but you need a guide tour or you need to rent out the space due to event like weddings that are taking place. I... More

Very interesting history.and a lovely house. Our guide really did not know much history about the house and property beyond his little speeches.

Beautiful old home with beautiful gardens surrounding the mansion. I was unable to tour the house, upgrades seem to be going on inside which has been used for events.

Looks like a wonderful place to visit. The "closed for private party" sign appears to be permanent. NoTriedSaturday SaSaturda
