Do to a genetic disorder there are 3 people in our family that have to go to Mayo. They are quick and efficient with testing, the doctors spend as much time as neccessary discussing options and treatments and answering questions. Great experiences.

They are well organized. They have a large area for the cars and shuttles to pull into. They have people there to help you to and from cars and they help you find your way around. The waiting room are very nice. They had people who play music in the lobby area. That was a nice touch.

Mayo is very very good at what they do. Out of Towners get special treatment, with scheduling. If you have an unusual condition they probably have a doc or team of docs who have treated it before.

The best hospital, it was worth the long drive. The doctors are very knowledgable, everyone is very helpful.

They know what they're doing and make it worth the trip if you're traveling from far away. It's a 5 hour drive for us and if something is needed like a lab or another appointment they'll do what they can to accomodate while you're in town. Been going since 2007.
