Too weird for me!

We came here for a free Family Day event and I am so glad it was free. Maybe I am just not "hip" enough to appreciate the modern art, but I found the displays to be extremely... read more

This is a beautiful facility, but it functions more as an event center than as an art center. They have a few art exhibits going at any given time. These tend to be interesting and well curated. But that is pretty much it. They offer very few classes and most of the space is left empty to accommodate events. It... More

We came here for a free Family Day event and I am so glad it was free. Maybe I am just not "hip" enough to appreciate the modern art, but I found the displays to be extremely strange. Even my 8 year old "artiste" was not impressed. I guess I expected more.

I have yet to find anything here that makes a visit worthwhile. They don't seem to have a collection of any sort, and the exhibits seem hit or miss. It's free on Thursdays, but last time I was there on a Thursday the place had litter everywhere, blank walls, and hardly anything to look at. If I'd paid to get... More

We had our wedding reception here, and although there is some construction around the building, none of the beautiful views were obstructed. The staff at the Art Center made our wedding reception run so smoothly; they were wonderful to work with. The venue itself is gorgeous, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and a beautiful park. Our guests... More

This multi-level art center focuses on Modern and Contemporary Art. Also provides art classes and event venues such as wedding receptions and dances.

The ARTBASH 2014 fundraiser was a blast! Three bands, delicious food, and a great vibe. Meeting the artist at the Emerging Artist Opening and viewing the Michael Sailstorfer Exhibition, that same night, was a real treat. Be sure to check the calendar so you don't miss up coming exhibition openings, programs, like Stetch!, and other events which will expand your... More

Walked thru the skywalk from mayo clinic. Very contemporary building. Walked thru all the exhibits. Able to do in an hour. Or less. Great diversion while in between appointments

The venue itself is nice, we were there for an event. Parking is difficult and requires a long walk. The event was catered by Canadian Honker, which always does great. The venue has rotating art displays, but it really isn't much to speak of or see. The areas with galleries can be covered in 20 minutes. With a look if... More

I've gone several time over the years hoping something would be good but I am always embarrassed for them and leave with nothing but a feeling that I will never go there again. There is nothing there. Sometimes, literally empty rooms. It's not even as good as a high school art show. I do not understand these other reviews. Really?... More

A great way to spend an hour or a few hours, looking and thinking about what is going on in another world. A way to free your mind from the daily world. Have fun and have creative thoughts.
