Traveling from MN back to WI we decided to travel down the Mississippi River wine trail. This was our first stop and was well worth our time. Wines are delicious, tasting room small and intimate and the outdoor patio is inviting with a gorgeous view. They have a stone fire pizza oven out on the patio, with live music on... More

The unusual drive to find the vineyard wasn't the only thing disappointing! While the grounds look inviting and seem quaint that's where it all ends for this winery. It has a very nice area for café/restaurant that is tucked back behind the tasting room with no clear path on how to access it from inside or out. The tasting room... More

We decided on a whim to look for and visit this little winery and we were so glad we did! The tasting was fun with two options ( 2 for free or a flight of 6 for $6). We decided to stay for a pizza and loved the deck setting and view. Wish our server had told us it was... More

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The wines are excellent, and the winemaker was there visiting with people. The view is beautiful! This is definitely a winery I would recommend!

Located down a winding road and seemingly clinging to the side of a hill overlooking the vineyard, the tasting room and dining area of Falconer Vineyards is worth it even with the lack of parking. We have visited for three consecutive years and even during the busiest season, the staff is accommodating and while the pizza may take some time... More

The day we stopped they had some other tasters in they but they took care of everyone. We bought some red wines. I did like they had ostyer crackers to eat in between tasting. We had a glass on the patio it was a great view and they had pizza going we didn't try.

We thought twice about going given the poor reviews. Boy were they wrong! OK, one of the servers was a little surly. We were the only ones there for a tasting so we had to hunt someone down. But once we got rolling it was lovely. Minnesota wine gets better each year. The pizza was surprisingly good. The grounds really... More

Falconer Winerie in Red Wing offers several very good wines. We enjoyed a tasting there on a recent trip to visit the pottery and shoe museums. Well worth a visit d a tasting.

We had a similar disappointing experience as other travelers because of the mediocre customer service when we visited this vineyard in October 2014. We drove several hours from Iowa to Minnesota to visit Red Wing and this vineyard for their “Federweisser Festival”. The information we obtained online sounded like it would be a fun wine tasting and was described it... More

The area surrounding the vineyard was pretty but that is about it. The service was subpar and seemed like it was an inconvenience to do the wine tasting. After we were done with round 6 the waitress never came back to see if we wanted to purchase a glass.... Not that we would have as the wine was just okay.... More
