Clean park, large beach (but somewhat shallow). Great rates for canoeing or kayaking around the lake. Also, there is a fantastic playground for younger kids--very different--webs to climb through, larger than some. My 10 year old still enjoys it.

One of our favorite playgrounds in the Twin Cities, we refer to it as "Spiderman Park." There's a ton of nets to climb along with fun slides, and a smaller part for younger children. This is a good park for fall colors, and there's a great sliding hill in the winter.

One of the best places to bring your kids and young and old alike. On Medicine lake and you can rent canoes and paddle boats and a great picnic area with a free shuttle from main parking and play area

Our 7 year old loves this park! We get a coffee and sit while he climbs away. He could spend a couple hours here if we would let him.

This is a relatively quiet park with LOTS to do! There is a great jungle jim play area for the kids, with slides and ropes to climb. A concession stand is available, with beautiful indoor bathrooms. A drinking fountain is outside near the play area. The beach is very nice, but occasionally closes due to swimmer's itch. Check before you... More

This place is great for bringing the kids for a family picnic. In addition to having a great little beach with kayak rentals there is a wonderful play area with climbing apparatus for the kids to wear themselves out while the parents relax.

I always have fun when I go there. At the park there's paddle boats, canoes, & other rentals. You can go fishing, go to the beach, go camping, have a picnic, and play some volleyball. I always go for walks and relax looking at the lake.

What a great place to hike and play. There is an awesome interactive Kids play area. Lots of climbing, swinging and exploring fun!! There is an interpretive center that has snacks, clean restrooms and nature stuff. The park staff are friendly and informative. It's a short walk to the beach or you can ride the shuttle. The park is right... More

Our area is a land of parks and lakes. This one almost has it all. Views, boat launch, play ground, picnic areas, beach, fishing and much more. The only down side is the very small selection of on site snacks.
