TripAdvisor's additional info questions that follow a reviewer's comments include "Is there a fee for this attraction?" Pretty easy to answer unless I'm reviewing a casino - in which case having to answer just "yes" or "no" seems like bullying. Certainly you don't have to pay to enter a casino and enjoy the knotted-din of slot-music, which plays even if... More

Went here with a group of cousins for a reunion. Rooms are very nice and the grand northern grill has awesome staff. Extremely friendly. Prices are reasonable. In general this is our favorite casino because people are friendly.

the selection of food was okay. The prime rib was extremely tough and hard to eat. The rest of food was okay but luke warm at best, making it cold by the time you got to your table to eat it. Server was mediocre at best and less then friendly. The entire area was smoke filled and for a non... More

I ate at the Grand Northern Grill at the casino. During the month of July they serve a 16-ounce cut of prime rib with a baked potato, vegetable, and a dinner roll . This was the best prime rib I have ever had. Done to perfection! And since I had gotten a grand rewards card I only paid $7.77. Without... More

We stayed in the hotel one night and that was a great idea. We went to the casino at 9:15PM and didn't leave until 2AM we were having so much fun. They have $5 and $3 Blackjack tables we played at and the dealers were helpful, friendly and hilarious. The casino also had a non-smoking area. This casino is much... More

Things to do for the kids and the adults and close to nature. Movie theatre close by the hotel. Northern Grill has excellent food. Close to Minneapolis. Community is quiet as a hole. Excellent security.

We have gone here several times and enjoy the food, atmosphere, drinks and entertainment. If you like casino's and a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. We have stayed over in the hotel as well and the room was great, clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. We do not go to casinos too often but when we do... More

We go up to the casino every few months. We pass Hinckley on our way Mille Lacs. Our favorite was the steakhouse. Best steaks around. When we went there this weekend we were told the steakhouse had closed. The buffet was disappointing. The slots were not paying out enough to keep us interested. But the room was clean and comfortable. We... More

A very friendly reservation clerk assisted me in using a, many, years old certificate for a free night's stay, and even gave us a free upgrade to a king bed! But that wasn't the case when I spoke with someone else about using a food certificate. He obviously didn't feel his job should include any sense of customer service or... More
