Biked to brewery

Loved the Biergarten and music on Sunday. Rode our bikes to the brewery and could have used a bike rack, but found a fence that worked. The cheese and bread basket was a plus!

Hello 12345MN - Thanks for visiting us at our Bier Garten. Sorry you missed our bike rack - we do have one directly across from the museum. Glad you enjoyed our snack in the Bier Garten, it is made from our brewers grains! Thanks for your review - Prost! More

We arrived on a hot summer day and the tour was about to start. We enjoyed the knowledgeable tour guide. The grounds are beautiful and the history of a 5 generation family owned business is amazing! The tour ends with beer tasting - what more could you ask.

A wonderful host took us on a tour of this quaint but thriving brewery - giving lots of interesting information. Followed by tasting of very interesting "brews!"

Absolutely a must visit! It only costs $3!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable! At the end of the tour, you get to taste 5-6 different beers and then for free they give you a beer of your choosing! The beer garden is beautiful to relax in after the tour and sip on your cold refreshing beer. For those who... More

Schell's offers a tour of their brewery and the grounds. The tour of the operating facility is short; the tasting is about half of the tour. However, the tour guide was entertaining and able to answer all of the questions. The brewery grounds are beautiful and well worth the time spent walking around.

Even if you only have a half hour, walk through to museum and gift shop - still can check out history of brewery, even though doing the tour is best - with samples!

We went, saw and marveled. The history is worth the tour and the beer was generous. Like the gardens too.

Spent the afternoon on an hour tour at the local New Ulm brewery. We enjoyed learning some of its history and sampling some of the great beers they have to offer. The grounds are beautiful with the gardens and you can enjoy your beer out on a sunny patio. The weekends offer live music too I guess, but we were... More
