I saw this again in the visitor's guide and decided that I wanted to see it. I wanted to see the difference between a brewery for beer and one for whiskey. I thought it was a very good tour. Again I did not climb the stairs but what I saw, I was impressed. Plus at the end of the tour,... More

While waiting for the brewery tour, this museum offers a good starting point of the humble beginnings of the brewery. Browse around the artifacts that date back in the 18th century. It shows the strong German influence in New Ulm.

For only $3 we were treated to a fascinating history of the brewery, tour, and a very generous beer tasting. The grounds & setting are beautiful as well! This was the highlight of our visit to New Ulm. We will be back!

Very pretty grounds. Tours fill up quickly so best to have a reservation before heading there. Lots of history at this brewery. There is a taste testing after the tour but I think it isn't included in tour fee.

PEACOCKS! Pretty cool to see Peacocks and Deer up close. Beautiful landscaping and adorableTrellis'/Arbors and decor on the buildings. (Nice Gift shop I was told-closed when I was there early evening)

We arrived after the museum was closed, but we were able to take a waking tour of the gardens surrounding the buildings. They were beautiful. The store was open, so we were able to buy some gifts.

It's a one-hour tour and so very interesting. Sampling was, of course, very good. The flower gardens are fun to walk through which provided more than one opportunity to take pictures.

The grounds of the site are wonderful - peacocks, beautiful trees and historic buildings. The tour is good - pay attention to history as it is really neat. The tasting was well worth the small admission price.

This was great. How cool to think that things have not changed much over time. My Grandparents would have loved to see that. Their favorite beer was brewed there. Beer tasting was fun and kids loved the rootbeer.
