My husband and I have been on many brewery tours (at least 15). For tours, this was one of the better ones. We were thankful they didn't spend too much time on the beer making process (been there done that). They did a nice job of explaining the brewery's history. I wasn't a fan of the beer, but the tasting... More

I'm having a tough time with this review because the beer is sub-par; however, the grounds and history are fantastic. I enjoyed the tour, and the 25,000 annuals planted on the grounds every year make this spot very welcoming and nice to stroll around. There's even a trail through the woods that takes you down to the river. Nicely shaded... More

visited Schell's brewery and did a tour there. The guide was very informative and told about the history and the present time of the brewery. Very interesting with a beer tasting at the end of the tour.

It was a blast to visit this place. The guide was very informative and really seemed to love his job. The tasting room is beautiful and there was a lot of beer to taste.

Even if you don't drink beer, this place is fun, historic and quite beautiful. For $3.00 you can take a 45 minute tour of the brewery and grounds with an engaging and knowledgable tour guide plus sample several beers and root beer made with their original 1919 recipe. Take time to visit the gift shop and be sure to stroll... More

We were killing time in between games at a baseball tournament. We didn't take the guided tour, just walked around the museum on our own. They have a pretty big gift shop too. Beautiful gardens and fun to get a beer and sit outside on a nice day. Delicious cheese and bread to snack on also!

Some of our group were beer drinkers some were not, we all had a great time! The tour is short and centered around the history of the brewery rather than the process of beer making. The tour guide was enthusiastic about the brand and the history which made it all the more fun! For a mere three dollars, we enjoyed... More

Best 3 dollars you'll ever spend. Gorgeous gardens and atmosphere(does not feel like a beer brewery). Very nice meseum showcasing the Schell family, company, and legacy(Oldest Craft Brewery in the USA). You receive a nice tour of the brewery, a nice selection of beer samples, a pint of your favorite(I recommend Schell Shocked-a very refreshing German Radler), and all the... More

As far as brewery tours go, this one has a few ups and downs. The people who work there were great. Everyone is very friendly and our tour guide seemed very genuine when discussing the history of the brewery. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Be sure to take some time to walk around. The tasting gives you a pretty decent... More
