The Children's Theater in Minneapolis has never disappointed. The visuals are amazing-set design, costumes and the orchestra is wonderful. Often the actors involve the children from the audience in some way. Definitely worth the visit!

Children's Theater for 40-some years has been the finest, most child-accessible theater experience in the nation. Whether you're visiting the Twin Cities or a resident, you owe it to yourself (the child in you) and the children in your life to attend a production or two -- you'll be hooked!

My parents took me here as a child and it has been a blessing to take my children. Shows are always fun and family friendly.

This place is magic. We were so excited to bring our toddler to The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and other Eric Carle Favorite. Amazing. The entire area is geared towards children, and it's so easy to let them cut loose and enjoy themselves in a theater setting. Make sure to check out Rock the Cradle, every March, because they do some... More

A Saturday matinee seeing Busytown the Musical with our 4 year-old grandson made for a best day for all of us. We found $10 seats on the website, he was able to stand up and talk to us with questions without bothering others. The music was fun, witty, memorable. The characters were funny, well spoken, and happy. The sets and... More

The Children's Theater Company in Minneapolis is so special! They put on wonderful performances, all tailored for children (so no worry about shushing little ones and there's enough going on that it'll keep their attention). What a wonderful way to get young kids interested in theater!

So, this was actually a while back from now, but I attended the play "Antigone" at the Children's Theatre Company and it was amazing. I don't know if they normally have seats during all other shows, but this one was live interaction, and we were literally sitting among the actors on the stage (which was the whole room). It was... I take my children to MANY cultural attractions. We go to the Children's Theater at least twice per year - and have been doing so since my children were 2 and 4. It is always good. This year we saw Shrek twice and Cinderella. I liked Shrek much more the second time than the first time (maybe I was hungry?)... More

This is by far, the best theatre for children in North America. Every time I stepped in, it was like stepping into a whole new world. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your world! Thank you for opening my eyes about theatre and telling me that I can be whatever or whoever I want... More
