The venue is better than at the Orpheum (aka more leg room), however, a blocked view due to poor elevation of rows (we were in X on the main floor), and tickets were $70.00. One can only crane the neck so much to see past the person in front of you. We have season tickets at the Orpheum, however, this... More

Went here for a concert. The theatre ceiling, etc are beautifully restored. Nice sight line and acoustics, but really tight seating. When someone wants to enter the row, there is barely enough room for them to enter even with standing up for them to pass. There is more leg room at both the Orpheum and Pantages theatre which are if... More

The historic state theater is a place that everyone should take in a show..Not a bad seat in the house. An awesome ambiance in a easy to get to downtown area..Parking very accessible and reasonable

If old theaters are your thing, you will love it here! The acoustics are great and the setting is intimate. I have seen Imagine Dragons, Jason Mraz, and Bryan Adams there. All different sounds, all great times. The drinks and snacks you can purchase for the show are overpriced, but parking is normally pretty cheap around the venue starting after... More

What a beautiful place to see a concert. Hubby and I saw Boz Scaggs. The venue was gorgeous and ornate. And the sound was incredible. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. With most older theaters the seats are crowded. It didn't feel crowded at all. We traveled 4 hours to see the show. We will... More

The lobby was very eloquent. The theatre has a very comfortable feel and I would recommend seeing a play or concert there.

Saw a couple of my favorite artists here, never thought they could sound better than they already did, but the state theatre is a beautiful venue!

Went last night to Sarah McLachlan. It is an ornate theatre and has decent amenities. The staff is pretty serious about taking care of the trouble-makers so the rest of us enjoy our experience. The sound is great and every seat on the main floor is a good view of the stage.
