Check the mass schedule - much more comfortable without services going on. Beautiful interior. Stained glass windows, side chapels, loft and ceiling all created an area of calm and wonder. If you have the time go visit.

Good music...for a great purpose! Praisetheloud! On a more serious note, this is a very beautiful, well preserved and well deserved catholic cathedral. Stop in, say a prayer and appreciate the building which the catholic church continues to support and preserve.

Visited the beautiful Church for the first time when my parents traveled from India. Very thankful to a kind host who showed us around the place, explained us the architectural significance, the painting, building design etc.

This is definitely worth a visit -- about 8 side chapels and the stained glass windows are exceptionally beautiful - old school. Alter is lovely as is the ceiling dome. Looks like it was recently renovated.

I've passed by the basilica many times, but this was the first time to enter it. It's just as spectacular on the inside as on the outside. We went for the 11AM mass & stayed afterwards to enjoy the basilica. A tour is offered after every mass. The mass had beautiful music. Also, there was a wide variety of dress--everything... More

I have to admit I love churches. I visit them all over the world from Texas to New York from California to South Carolina. If you enjoy architecture and design you need to see this church. The design is amazing and I love the resurrection theme.

I attended a concert at the Basilica and while I was there I walked through the main floor and marveled at how beautiful the Basilica is. It is definitely worth a visit if you're interested in church architecture and art.

With the Basilica in Minneapolis and the Cathedral in St. Paul, one can enjoy two tremendous churches for free. Seeing them back to back (about 10 to 15 minutes between them), is moving. I would see the Basilica first because the Cathedral takes everything to another level. Parking is easy and hearing the organist practicing is an extra wonderful experience.... More

Gorgeous church with an old world feel. The stain glass is in excellent shape and beautiful. The confessionals along the side are also a work of art (see picture). I wish we had been there for mass. They did have an organist I assume was practicing while we were there. The sound as it passed through the church was beautiful,... More
