Loved visiting the Basilica. Both the building and grounds are immaculate. The architecture and stained glass are stunning. Very quiet and peaceful inside. I'm always amazed that churches like this are open to the public all through the day, whereas more modern day churches are locked up tight unless open for a service. I was able to roam through the... Beautiful service and beautiful architecture. A must see location when you are in Minneapolis irrespective of religious affiliations.

We attended Sunday Mass there and were awe-inspired by the stained glass windows, arches and statuary. The exterior is beautiful and so is the interior. Some of the interior needs work with falling plaster in some archways.

the church is great, grand looking for both outside and inside, there was a music performance would start soon when we visited, but as we don't have time, otherwise it was good to stay there longer.

The basilica is georgeous inside. It reminds me of St. Patrick's cathedral in NYC. There are many services from which to choose, and the music is outstanding. They had a group during the mass I attended. Very good acoustics.

Beautiful building with a nice feel to it. I am usually slightly intimidated by cathedrals and basilicas. This one was beautiful with a slightly more comfortable atmosphere.

We actually stumbled across the Basilica while walking toward the sculpture gardens nearby. What a lovely place! It was so still and quiet and cool inside. Very nice to pause for a few minutes and look around, or just sit and take it in. Also has facilities open to the public, which can be a lifesaver when wandering around downtown!

Check the mass schedule - much more comfortable without services going on. Beautiful interior. Stained glass windows, side chapels, loft and ceiling all created an area of calm and wonder. If you have the time go visit.

Good music...for a great purpose! Praisetheloud! On a more serious note, this is a very beautiful, well preserved and well deserved catholic cathedral. Stop in, say a prayer and appreciate the building which the catholic church continues to support and preserve.

Visited the beautiful Church for the first time when my parents traveled from India. Very thankful to a kind host who showed us around the place, explained us the architectural significance, the painting, building design etc.
