This is a marvelous church to attend a worship serice. Get there early to be able to walk around and look at all the biblical history in the building. The stations of the cross are amazing with all the history.

We were just headed out of the city when I asked my hubby if we had time to try and find our way to the BIG beautiful cathedral that I kept seeing on the hill. We found our way to it and we couldn't believe our eyes. We enjoyed just taking our own time going through each alcove and stopping... More

This is a huge and very beautiful church! It was literally the most quiet place I have ever been in. I almost felt like I was intruding on the space. It's a very peaceful and beautiful place. There is a fee to park. Note: It is not in the best area so try to go during the day.

Beautiful architecture and stained glass. Best part it's in the middle of the city. This is a 'must stop' if you are touring around.

Visited here for Mass during our convention and the church is incredible. The renovation that has been done is top notch. The colors, statues and stained glass are beautiful. Even if you aren't Catholic, peek inside and you will be glad you did.

The building itself and especially the interior is absolutely beautiful with vaulted ceilings, stained glass, and pipe organ. Parking, however, leaves something to be desired. Most of the spaces are located under the overpass and due require a fee. Services are elegant with Latin singing which tends to run longer than other masses. Beware: this location has security and will... More

We are not Catholic but I wanted to write this to encourage anyone of any faith to visit the Basilica of St. Mary. The interior is so beautiful and so historic. We always go to the Basilica for Christmas Eve which is a must do for everyone. And also for Munday Thursday during Easter Holy Week. This is a beautiful... More
