This park was amazing. Really enjoyed the walking, the lake and the animals. The squirrels welcomed us. It was nice watching the water fowls landing on the lake and swimming and also walking outside the lake. It was an amazing experience to mingle around with those animals. It was a lovely garden in the Fall. Interesting park in the middle... More

The park is easy to access and was full of people on the weekend. The lake is on the small side, but has a nice 1K+ trail around it. While my experience running a 5K in the dark and rain (5 times around the lake) showed the park in less-than-ideal conditona, it was an easy place to access from the... More

Great place to visit during the day, but safety is a concern outside of prime day time hours. Small-ish sized park on edge of downtown Minneapolis, surrounded by a few nice restaurants (Café Lurcat,, Loring Kitchen).

It's certainly a downsiz d version of NYC's Central Park, but is a fun and beautiful park with a lake, gardens, sports courts, and fountains in the middle of th city. We often walk through it.

Nice city park within easy distance of downtown (can reach via greenway). Lovely gardens. Great restaurants for before or after walking.

When business travel brings me to downtown Minneapolis, Loring Park offers a convenient outdoor space for a nice walk to clear the mind or cleanse the soul after a 4 hour meeting.

Minneapolis is a city of parks and Loring Park in the heart of downtown is a great example. It's not a big park, but it has beautiful flower gardens, tennis courts, and rolling lawns for picnics and strolling. The Walker Art Center and Sculpture Gardens are just across the street and the park is accessible via a quite pleasant greenway... More

Strolled thru the park on a brisk fall day with my husband. The park provided a gentle respite from the hub bub of the seminar we were attending at the Convention Center. Had a ball watching the water fowl and hilarious antics of the resident squirrels.

Beautiful park in the city. Lots of people use the park - most of them for reasons you would expect, a few for for activities that require police intervention. Attended a wedding held outdoors by the lake on a beautiful fall day and reception held in the Arts Center.
