This is a great venue. It is the busiest of the lakes. The happenest place to be, see and be seen. The lake, the sailboats, the houses (less homes than the other lakes)...everywhere you look it is pleasing to the eye. Lots of activity...volleyball, frisbeeers, couples, singles, friends, parents with their parents, rollerbladers, runners, walkers, people fishing, lots of dogs... More

I really enjoy rollerblading around the lakes on the Grand rounds byway. Lake Calhoun is a standout with all of the activity that happens throughout the year! Hoigaards canoe race is one of my favorites! More
