The building itself is amazing! I saw "Little House on the Prairie Musical" there in Fall 2008. I was impressed with the production as well as the commitment to quality at the Guthrie. The view of the Mississippi river from the endless bridge is very nice. more

I live 15 minutes away from the Guthrie Theater and have seen countless plays there, you won't be dissapointed. It's very modern and classy with great plays. The area around the Guthrie alsohas some good sights. more

Anytime that I'm in Minneapolis for business, I always make reservations for anything that's showing at the Guthrie. Aside from a beautiful facility, the shows are well-chosen and impeccably done. I've never been disppointed. more

Just opened in June 2006 - While I haven't been to any plays at the new theater on the riverfront - the building itself is amazing. Most of the building is open to the public at 8:00 a.m. each day - the best bet is to go to the 'bridge to nowhere' - one of the longest occupied cantilevers in... more
