Located in downtown Minneapolis, the Guthrie theater is synonymous with the heartbeat of the city- theater and musicals..we went to a musical on a Friday evening- really nice neighborhood within walking distance to various spots in town. There are a couple of nice restaurants below, the theater itself overlooks the mill city museum, the stone arch bridge, and the Mississippi.... More

Enjoyed this attraction more than I expected. The views were great. We especially enjoyed seeing the stone bridge from the Guthrie's viewing deck. Did not take long, but it was well worth the stop.

White Snake excellent production. One of the best we have seen. Great talent. Funny and wholesome. The trio of musicians were also very good. The gift shop was very nice with a great selection. The employees/volunteers were friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced tickets. Highly recommend that show

This is a full service theater with scene and prop production, costume design and production and three theaters. We wish there had been a production during our visit to go to. But this tour is the best. Very interesting to see all this theater is capable of. Plus the second largest cantilever in the world with arena seating overlooking St... More

This place has such a cool vibe. Shows prices are geared for the more affuent. Not a family. If you have children explore the building and grounds not the shows.

This was my first visit. There was nothing lacking in this performance. The cast exhibited such energy and the music, costuming and choreography was exceptional. This was a highlight of my trip.

This is a very interesting theater and we kicked ourselves for not thinking ahead and planning on seeing My Fair Lady. We couldn't get in theater, but I think it is pretty nice. Based on what we saw of the rest of it, which was very interesting, especially the cantilevered lobby known as the "Endless Bridge" that overlooks the Mississippi... More

This is a must-see in Minneapolis!! They stage some of the best Broadway shows with talented actors. The parking can be pricey, but the shows are well worth it.

My husband and I have seen 5 or 6 shows at the Guthrie in the last two years and they've all been wonderful! We've yet to have a bad seat. One time we stayed after the show for a Q & A with the cast and some of the actors from New York said the Guthrie is as good as... More
