This building is amazing. The views are impressive and the playful architecture is a delight. You don't have to see a show to enjoy a visit, but if you do, you won't regret it. Its one of the best medium sized theater companies in the country and has a lot of respect and support. Go last minute and get 20.00... More

I have been a fan of and a supporter of the Guthrie Theater since I moved to the Twin Cities over 15 years ago. Both at its original location and at its current spot, it offers some of the best regional theater to be found in the nation. As a Shakespeare fan, I am consistently impressed by their innovative interpretations... More

We decided to take in a show at the last minute and the only seats available were in the balcony, last row, it was a nice supprise. The seats were not bad at all, clear view and the place isnt really so large that you would be that far away anyway. More

Beautiful, FREE building open to the public designed by world class architect Jean Nouvel, go up and down the escalators, walk on the endless bridge, enjoy the views, go up to the 9th floor Dowling Studio and see the best views of downtown and end it in the red Target Lounge. And yes, if your schedule allows, see a play! More

My first visit was to the theater styled after the original. It was so good and cozy. We got great tickets, great price, two weeks before the play. The food is good. I LOVE that you can pre-purchase drinks and have them waiting for intermission! More

A great location. A great space. Very interesting design. Nice restaurants. The theater is steep and a bit tight, but is very intimate and sounds wonderful. More

Great location with it's own parking ramp. Two restaurants in the building and multiple performance spaces. The restaurants are a great place to go for drinks after the show. More

The Guthrie is the premiere theater in Minneapolis. You should definitely come for a visit: check out the view from the second floor, grab a drink or eat a meal. Best of all, of course, are the shows. You can get discount rush tickets before the show, but even a full-price ticket will be worth it in this gorgeous and... More
