Loads of construction happening right now, but it's all to make Nic Mall a better place to be. Thursdays in the warmer seasons brings out the brilliant farmer's market, where the sun, buskers, and multitudes of home made/grown goods are sure to lift your spirits. Drop the buskers a little tip - they do a wonderful job! In the winter,... More

Had a horrible experience On our way to dinner we encountered violent racist protestors There were not any police present on foot. It appears the city tolerates this type of curbside protesting. My family was called monkeys, cavemen, animals, and various other names on our way to dinner. Due to the racism from the locals, violence nearly erupted. We did... More

This is a series of stores, restaurants, businesses and services in several buildings all connected by inside skyways. What a great idea for a city that gets so cold in the winter. But be sure to keep track it's easy to get lost and turned around! But there is always someone around to help you find your way back. Be... More

On the whole, we found Minneapolis to be a very clean city. There didn't even seem to be as many homeless people around. Sidewalks were clean and the planters, especially in Nicolett Mall area were beautiful. (Couldn't believe there was hibiscus in Minneapolis!) If you're a Mary Tyler Moore fan, you'll want to snap a pic with her (statue) in... More

We were here in June, on a beautiful day. It was World Cup time, and the bars were packed. It was nice to be out walking around, doing a bit of browsing and stop for a drink. Parking can be an issue, but we got lucky with street parking. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here, but... More

We really enjoyed many of the restaurants and pubs/lounges that are considered part if the mall. They have something for everybody; even quick but healthy and delicious options for lunch. However, we spent our first day here shopping. We realized it was a waste of our time. After we went to Mall of America and the Albertville Outlets we realized... More

We walked thru and there are just to many homeless people, people that seem nuts preaching and people that just look like they are up to no good. Its mostly restaurants and some stores. If your in the area for something else it will work but not worth going out of your way for.

Very nice area in downtown Minneapolis. The self-propelled bar busses were a special treat. The Newsroom was a most enjoyable restaurant with a wide choice of beverages and numerous and wide-ranging dining choices. Excellent food.
