I took my 14 year old daughter to the One Direction concert. We had a great time!! The stadium was easy to get to on the metro light rail---plenty of food, drink, and restrooms available at the venue. Lots of helpful staff.

2nd campus tour for our rising senior. After many attending campus tours, I must say that UM Twin Cities seems to have this down pat. Obviously the admissions staff is in this business for a reason, but we were warmly welcomed in the overview, group tour and were able to meet individually with a senior admissions counselor who was able... We were on a college tour trip but did not sign up for a tour of this college. We visited the admissions office and were surprised that they were able to give us a personal tour of the campus. The tour guide was very helpful and friendly. The personal touch at such a large institution was refreshing!!!

What a nice campus. Lot's of character. Newer buildings manage to mesh very nicely with the older architecture. Location by the Mississippi with the boat house and rowing docks give it a hint of Harvard. The Quidditch game going on in the field made me wonder if they were aiming for something more along the line of Hogwarts. Visited in... More

All six of my children have attended different colleges and universities and the U of Minnesota ranks as the best four year undergraduate college of the group. It provides a broad range and scope of academic possibilities for your child to explore set in a robust and urban environment. The emphasis at U of M is definitely on academics and... More

Visited campus with my daughter on a family trip to Minneapolis. This is now her top choice for college. We were very impressed with the look and feel of the campus. It has a great mix of old and new buildings and doesn't feel too large. The surrounding neighborhoods were nice and easy to walk to. We especially liked the... More
