Being in the hotel directly located there, the U. of Minn. was a great place to walk around and grab a bike (free for first 30 mins) ! They have the most unique Alumni building, amazing gym, unique sculptures that "disappear" that a quantum-physicist-turned-sculptor created for the physics & nanotech building (called “SPANNUNGSFELD”) ... very enjoyable in August!

I loved the weather. We are from east Texas where it is so hot usually with high humidity. Here there was no humidity. Everyone was out riding their bikes or were on their skateboards all day. I just wished that there were more places to eat around the college.

Great campus- close enough together that you can walk or bike anywhere! Very clean and tidy as well.

This place is huge! We came here on business but had some free time after meetings etc, So we decide to explore the city. Very nice campus and old buildings as well as delicious places to eat right near the campus.

The campus was really nice and easy to navigate. We were not on an official tour, but we were fortunate enough to see the football stadium, which is incredible.

We've visited campus three times this year from SC. Each time we go we learn more about UM and can't help but like it. It feels like both a university and a city on its own. Very safe atmosphere and so much to do nearby.

This is a beautiful campus that appears to have plenty of history and beautiful areas of campus, and also seems very progressive. Terrific athletic facilities, really nice student union and bookstore. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Minneapolis!

If you ask me to tell the queen of the land of 11000+ lakes, I would name the great 'University of Minnesota'. No else description is required. Proud to be a golden gopher.

A lot of information in a little time, but very well presented. Food was excellent. Information was valuable. Appreciated the chance to ask individual questions of the various departments represented. Tours offered for parents were interesting. Would have liked more specific directions in the afternoon sessions such as where to go next, where to meet up with your student, how... More
