In addition to the space being historical and grand, the curators of the art do a fabulous job with production. The winter artist captivated me with his love of water, the gift shop is one I return to again and again. Delightful people and great art!

Great place for local artists to display their artworks and and to sell very quaint and charming one of a kind gifts. Shows change on a regular basis, new show about every month. Check it out when you are in town.

Mankato is yet another community that has preserved the wonderful library that Mr. Carnegie funded some 100 years ago. Every 6 weeks another artists is featured in their gallery space. You never know what you will find on a visit. The Art Center has a wonderful gift shop with jewelry, wood turning, pottery, fiber art, paintings, collage, kiln fired glass,... More

Great place to see local art showcased. Large space smartly divided up into three galleries and a new workspace for classes. I like that they kept the feel of the historical building intact.
