Intimate setting

Nice setting for a play. Not a bad seat in the house. The actors were extremely talented. Overall a great time and can't wait to go back.

It was a fantastic show. I've been going to Minneapolis shows for years and hadn't been to such a small theatre - but wow did it impress. I fully recommend seeing a show when you're in Lanesboro.

We had the opportunity to visit the Commonweal for their Christmas Show this year. It was performed by three actors, who did a tremendous job! The evening was very enjoyable, and we will definitely be back!

We saw "Around the World in 80 Days". This was our first time at the Commonweal and I hope to be a season ticket holder after seeing this performance. We live two hours away but this was definitely worth the trip. The acting was amazing and the fun fact was that there were five actors playing 34 different characters! The... More

This was an off season production. It only had a cast of three, but they were great. This was the third production we saw this year. It was not as good as the other two but we had a fun time. The actors did a great job and so did the audience. We already have picked out the shows we... More

We visited the Commonweal for our first time this weekend. We had no expectations, as we hadn't visited prior to this trip. The theater is clean, and decorated with a lot of interesting stuff. They have many items hanging from the ceiling. The children loved exploring the lobby area discovering all the different little hidden stuff. It was very interesting... More

Commonweal...you did it again. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed your world class presentation. We are looking forward to our next visit to the theatre. See you soon! -Rob and Paula Lentz

This professional company is a gem! I saw both summer shows done in rep and they were both excellent.

What a treat to experience such a special theater in a very small, but picturesque town. The production of Arcadia was well done and the theater itself, was very nice. We stopped by the box office early to pick up tickets and chatted with two of the actors and were given a hefty set of "Cliff Notes" that helped us... More

Six of us attended the Commonweal Theater production of Arcadia and we were all very impressed. The play is a real thinker and hard to pull off, but the actors all did a very good job. The theater itself is small and the acoustics are a little annoying, but in general it is well worth the $30 per person to... More
