Went by this as we were driving around. It is a private residence but it was fun to drive by and tell the kids who Bob Dylan is and what he did for music.

We were in Hibbing for the Rust Hall open pit ore mine and the Greyhound bus museum. We had to get our rental car serviced and had the technicians there tell us of the house. Since we were also to go to the Motown Museum (Detroit) and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland) on the trip, we decided... More

Not knowing what to expect on "Bob Dylan Drive" I was pleasantly surprised at the well maintained Dylan house with its tidy yard well pruned hedges and trees. It really was a great experience and the neighbour's yards and houses seemed equally maintained and friendly. The entire town actually was a great place to walk and enjoy. I'll go again.... More

House is actually at 25th and 7th (far end of 2400 block), not 27th and 7th. House is not marked but Hibbing obviously wants you to know where it is as 7th has street signs proclaiming it "Bob Dylan Drive" from the main drag (E. Howard off 169) right down to the house. As for the whole "he wasn't born... More

House is at 27th & 7th. Garage door is painted over. GO TO ZIMMY'S tavern/restaurant at Howard & 7th for a great place, it's a shrine to Dylan.

He wasn't born here. He didn't even live here til he was in grade school. He was not as in love with Hibbing as Hibbing is with him... he left at 18 and never look back. He lived in this house for barely 12 years. Streets and a restaurant are named after him here. It's not his birthplace or anything... More

Since there are no markings on the house to identify it as Bob Dylan's home, we relied on friends who were local to tell us about it. Seems as if Dylan doesn't acknowledge Hibbing as his home. It's a lovely little town, and the high school,is amazing. The mining companies spent a great deal of money on the educational system... More

It's a home like many others. Across the street from Hibbing High, which IS an amazing structure. Don't know when he moved to Duluth, but the Range had some impact on him.

All there is to see is a house on a corner. And it is an average house at that. No marker or any history about when he lived there even.
