Quaint place to visit.

We stopped at the Busted Nut after looking in a few other stores and enjoyed interaction with all the clerks in all the stores.

Throughout the summer every other Saturday night they hold an old time car meet here. It seems to be the most appropriate location for such an event. With the new bridge in place the back drop couldn't be better.

The downtown area is filled with quant shops, eclectic restaurants and interesting people. This is a good place to stroll and check out the old buildings and shops. Also, take in the incredible bridge over the Mississippi, just incredible.

Hastings on the Mississippi has lots of antique stores; gift stores and more. Great restaurants downtown along the river and within walking distance of shops. The artistic murals under the 'Arches' bridge that spans the Mississippi are beautiful; there is a walkway along the river and under the bridge that allows a quick easy walk for a different view of... Downtown Hastings, along the Mississippi River, offers a pleasant family outing, especially on Friday evenings in the summer or early fall. On those nights, the historic downtown comes alive with beautiful classic cars. A few shops were open - featuring used books/records/antiques/etc, and there were also a few food trucks about. Even if you're just window-shopping, downtown Hastings is a... More

If you like old stuff in many stores, this is your place. If you want to go to stores after 5:00, this is not your place. I would like to shop downtown Hastings more, but it seems to only be open for car shows.

I live only 60 minutes from Hastings, England so regular visit, so the chance to visit Hastings, Minnesota was something I could not resist whilst in Minneapolis on business. The roads to Hastings were easy to navigate. Hastings main street was full of lovely Antique shops which I totally enjoyed and then also took a small path down to the... More

We visited a number of shops in historic downtown Hastings. A good place to browse for antiques. We enjoyed Lah Tee Dah for clothing options. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the afternoon on Saturday so some places had already closed. I hope this downtown can survive the big franchises farther down the road.

Cute, small downtown definitely worth visiting for an afternoon. There are a few few cute shops and restaurants. We walked along the river and stopped to watch the lift bridge go up and a big barge go through. My kids loved watching all the boats on the river. We ate lunch on a restaurant patio overlooking the river. Nice and... More
