Entree's were interesting and tasty. Portions not very large. Relatively expensive dinner to combine with a play. Not bad if you don't like to travel to more than 1 location on a night out. Still, price was higher than expected for food we had.

This was our first time at Old Log Theater. Seats were row 2, 15-16. Great view of characters, may go back a few rows next time to get more of a broad view. Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels was playing. Cast performed very well. Although I hadn't seen the movie, the scenes were well played out. We had dinner at Cast and... More

Saw Dirty, Rotten, Scoundrels last night. What an awesome production! The writing is hysterical and all extremely well delivered by a very talented cast. We were laughing through the entire thing. I have not been to this theatre since I was a little girl. I love all the new updates. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a... More

If you are looking for a fun night out while in the Minneapolis area, look no further than the Old Log Theater, a few miles west of town in Excelsior. For years we have attended dinner and a play at this well-known small theater venue, but it was recently sold to another local family. The new owners have revamped the... More

The Old Log has beautiful sets and an excellent atmosphere. The restaurant and bar are by far the best I've ever experienced in a theater.

This was our second visit to the Old Log Theater since the new owners Greg and Marissa Frankenfield took it over. Again we were so entertained with the production of Outside Mullingar. The actors really made you feel like you were in the room with them. The level of talent that the Old Log attracts is something that those of... More

We always have enjoyed the Old Log. The new ownership is venturing into different types of plays, which is fine. The play we just saw Outside Mullingar was good, but with some of the death humor wasn't good as we brought my wife's 92 year old mother.

Had a fantastic experience with large work group. The company I work for hosted key partners for a limo bus and show at OLT. what a great place! Great looking lobby. Kitchen looked 5 star (we didn't dine but wished we had) the theatre was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The wine list was impressive. We had an all around... More

What a surprise. An inviting restaurant and bar, comfortable seating, in a unique setting. The new owners have made major upgrades. (The production was pretty good too.)
