This is the perfect attraction for families in Ely when the weather isn't co-operating! My girlfriend and I and her two teenage daughters went here on a very cold wet summer day and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of info and education we received that day on the "bear". Good place! more

We recently visited the North American Bear Center in Ely while visiting friends who have a cabin in the area. This is one of the newer attractions in the area, having been completed in 2007. I didn't expect to learn too much from a visit to the North American Bear Center, but ended up learning quite a bit. The Center has a large viewing window from which one can view three black bears going about their business.
