White Wilderness is a great place to experience a hands on dog sledding experience. The dogs are amazing. Our guide, Theo, was very knowledgeable and caring of the dogs as well as her guests. She communicated her expectations and instructions well and that made for a very pleasurable day for all. Overall an amazing winter adventure.

This was an amazing trip and White Wilderness provided an excellent experience from start to finish. We originally purchased for the previous year but the trip could not be run due to lack of snow. White Wilderness was kind enough to let us reschedule for this year (at no additional cost) and it was well worth the wait. The staff... More

Best vacation ever! The guide was awesome and made sure we were dressed properly. The dogs seemed well cared for and were obviously so happy to be there. Can't wait to go back!!!

Looking forward to our fifth trip this winter. The dogs are always friendly and eager to run. The trails are great with lots of variety. And the yurt is the greatest way to spend a night under the stars. And oh yeah, the guides are the best.

I visited White Wilderness Dogsledding in January 2015, and can’t wait to plan another trip! As a lover of all things “dog” and the great outdoors, this was an incredible experience for me. Not only were we treated to excellent cuisine and a stunning tour of God’s County, we were each given a team of very well trained (and probably... More

The actual sled ride was fun, but I was disappointed to see so many dogs living chained to their doghouse. Tethering is illegal in many cities. I don't want to pay a business that supports this unethical practice. I was expecting to see dogs living unchained in group enclosures, as they are at other dogsledding businesses. I will never visit... More

Thank you for your candid comments. With over 25 years of experience working with sled dogs, we have found that tethering is healthier and safer for the dogs. We have also found that contrary to what many people believe, tethering increases socialization and physical activity. The health and well-being of each of our dogs is a top priority for us,... Dogsledding has been on my bucket list for a long, long time and I can now check it off successfully! The day trip was great. I loved how laid back it was yet how much we were able to do. I really appreciated how the guides let us hang out with the dogs beforehand, harness them to the sled ourselves,... More

I did a 3-day dog sled trip with my 8 year old grandson. It was part of his Christmas present from last year. It was the best thing I've ever could have done. What an incredible experience!!! White Wilderness did an outstanding job with everything! This child will never forget the experience and has asked if he could have it... More

What a fun weekend! We had five couples in our group + guides Steve and Janet. From the time we arrived all at WWSDA were really accommodating, helpful (great inexpensive rentals if you need) and thorough with all hands-on instruction. Participate if want (help harness the dogs), or let them do it for you - your choice. Steve and Janet... More
