This was an ok place. We were there in the afternoon, and there was not one wolf to be seen. I would think if you find out what time feeding time is, you will have a better chance of seeing a wolf.

Spent most of an entire day with the wolf center. They run movies all day by the top wolf researchers. There are four wolves on display. They have college age presenters help with interpretation. We did an off-site program as well.

Very educational. You only need to go once. Kids love it. Save it for a rainy day. Kind of expensive but for a great cause

It was a nice place and interesting but overpriced. The wolves might as well have been pets. My son 8yrs was bored immediately while my daughter 5yrs enjoyed it more.

Went out of our way to see this and it was worth it. The wolves are beautiful and there is always someone there to explain what their names are and interesting things about them and the enclosure. It's through glass but was able to get some very good pictures.

We went to the feeding they do at night once a week. It was cool to learn all about the wolves and then get to see them up close as they got fed. The workers were very knowledgeable and the facility was perfect with tons of windows at all angles so you could see the wolves.

We visited the wolf center at noon on a Wednesday. The staff gave the wolves a snack. All the wolves were visible and very active. We watched them for a long time. The staff were informative and answered all our questions. We also stayed for a talk that lasted about 40 minutes. I have visited before when my own kids... More

My husband and I went to the International Wolf Center on our recent trip to Ely. The place was absolutely packed with people (most likely because it was a drizzly morning). The noon-time program we went to was informative. Being we are both from Northern Minnesota, it wasn't new information to us. It also felt to us like it was... More

Lovely place to see wolves, they had a great time when one of the keepers put out an old tub full of water, they all went mad trying to doggie paddle in it. The center has some wonderful exhibits and loads of information about wolves and how people interact with them. the gift shop is great too
