It was recommended to arrive before 12:00 pm as the staff presents an interactive session to bring the wolves out for visitors. Snacks of berries and watermelon attracted the wolves to hang out for a while giving visitors a good view and time to see the personalities of each wolf. Given the weather was cooler, the wolves were doing more... More

I respect the advocacy and awareness work that the center is accomplishing, however I feel that they should be a bit more upfront about how little interaction/viewing there is of the real life wolves. The center has a panel of glass to view the wolves, but they can easily disappear and hide. We spent about two hours there (because our... More

We'd just spent $40 at the Bear Center, only to see them thru a fence and in a cage instead of thru the "observation window", so my expectations were very low coming here, expecting the same thing. Our family of 4 (me, dad, teen, and 3 y/o) was over $10 cheaper than the Bear Center, which started us out on... More

The center was well designed and informative. There was a great viewing area to observe the wolves. There were several informative displays.

If you enjoy wolves...this is the place for you...since it was hot outside, the wolves were hiding in their den. We were disappointed not to see any wolves for the price we paid.

The International Wolf Center is a nice place to visit especially is it's a rainy or cold day in the summer. We arrived at the Center at about 10:00. About every 30 minutes, they have an informational presentation about wolves. Our presenter did an excellent job, she went into detail but wasn't boring, told stories and made them interesting. The... More

Visited the center on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the information presented by a staff member. The wolves were very inactive due to the weather, so they were not easy to see. There are some exhibits and artwork to look at, but for $11 I would rather have gone to the bear center instead.

Good for kids. Staff makes an effort to educate you and share info. The wolves were napping when we were there on a warm summer day, so we barely got to see them. There are a lot of posters and books and exhibits about wolves and humans throughout history though--pictures, stories, myths, legends. So they try to put other stuff... More

The International Wolf Center is an interesting way to spent a couple of hours. We were able to observe all of the Wolf Centers pack members and staff provided an interesting insight into the individual's personality and status within the pack. The staff fed the pack a snack and we were able to see the Omega. He's normally very shy.
