MY family visited the wolf center and met a few baby wolves. There is a presentation given and they brought in a couple wolf pups and let people pet them. Their are several adult wolves roaming outside which you can view thru the windows. Very informative.

My wife and I stopped at the International Wolf Center last fall and were treated to some very nice displays and informative presentations. Many years ago we were there and the wolves stayed hidden, but this time, we were more patient and were treated to a long visit by the wolves... right in front of the large windows in the... More

The facility is full of history and up to date education on wolves. There are free films, programs and a historical museum on site. The live wolves are most active in the morning and early evening in the summertime.

If you want to see active wolves in spring, summer or fall, come an hour or two before they close at six. They are AMAZING to watch!!! It's awe inspiring to see the black alpha male in his glory!! I saw all of the wolves active because they fed them late in the day, just before closing. They almost acted... More

Very interesting and newer displays. You can see live wolves up close in a relatively natural habitat. They offer interpretive programs and have exhibits. They have great activities for kids too.

This exhibit was developed by the Minnesota Science Museum and traveled the world. When it was time to look for a final home for the exhibit there was a huge discussion within the state as to0 where the exhibit should go, At the time I was the President of the Chamber of Commerce in Ely, my argument was that the... While the presentation about wolves was quite interesting, we would have liked to have seen more actual wolves - only one was visible. We thought the North American Bear Center was much more interesting.

I learned so much about wolves when we went to the International Wolf Center, Must get there for there daily programs. Also you can see them up close thru the large viewing windows. Werewolves and puppy dogs, spirit wolves on the hunt exhibit is excellent. Also check out there website for Live Streaming Cams.
