Lovely park

This park have wonderful falls to play in and just look at. Especially after a rain. The falls are really gushing after a rain. Bring a picnic and spend some time.

This is a great place to go for a hike, picnic. Or maybe I should say it used to be until the city went all chainsaw happy and cut down over 100 huge trees around the creek for no necessary reason. Shame on the cites management. These were trees that withstood the flood but were still perfectly healthy and posed... More

Nice place to take a walk/hike we went on the trails some and had a good time I don't think the walking trails where marked the best. But the exercise was great and the stream is great when walking around and it feels like you are not even in town so that was nice.

We spent a couple of hours hiking by the little river there and it was awesome. Our kids - ages 10 and 12 - said this was a highlight of our weekend in Duluth. It is was the perfect place to be active yet it was so peaceful and beautiful.

My friend and I wanted to see the beautiful natures if Duluth. Some of the things on Trip Advisor said they were in Duluth but were actually an hour or 2 away. This park was right in Duluth! It's a nice park and has easy trails. From the parking ramp we walked left which gave you hills but you want... More

As you walk through Chester park there is endless breathtaking sights. It's a short walk which takes up a lot of time because you stop to soak up the view. If you have small child it is great because there is a park and a place for a picnic. I would highly recommend this place for any type of vacation,... More

I heard of this place from someone else on facebook that it was a nice place to explore.I set my GPS on my phone and off we were to check it out.It was only 7 miles from our hotel. It is located right in Duluth. Beautiful waterfalls, streams and hiking trails. There is a ski lift hill that we first... More

In the winter it is a ski area! Also has a giant field for soccer, football, Frisbee, you name it! It has wonderful trails and has non-functioning ski jumps! (do not attempt to go off them they will collapse)

It's hard to believe how many scenic, secluded areas there are in the middle of Duluth and Chester Park is rights towards the top of the list. It's a great place to hike with trails around the river and through the woods. We hiked up to Chester Bowl from 15th Ave. E. & 5th St. and it was like we... More

Our family of four loves to hike and take in the sites while on vacation and no matter how much time we have we can usually find something. Chester Park looked like it would be a really quick little stop and then on to the next park. We were really impressed with the trail running up and down both sides... More
