Our group of 4 had a blast with the bicycles. We rented a bike for 4 and laughed a lot as we navigated the area. The only problem is that there are a LOT of pedestrians in the area and it's hard to avoid them all. Overall a great experience, but a little nervewracking to avoid hitting people!

Visiting Canal Park wouldn't be the same without the bike rentals. They have lots of neat styles including 4 and 6 person bikes. We rented one for an hour and had a blast. There are ramps so you can go all the way to the end of the piers and watch the ships on them. There is also a long... More

As mentioned earlier the actual name is Wheel Fun Rentals, not Wheel Run. My wife and I rented the two person Single Surrey bike for two hours for about $22 per hour - should have rented for 1 hour as they suggested since it is mainly to be used on the paved pathway by the rental place and along the... My kids were begging to ride the surrey as soon as we saw it. We rented it and rode it out to the lighthouse, and up and down the bike path on the beach. It was a fun experience and definitely one that we will always remember.

We rented a "Deuce Coupe Surrey" for an hour and had a blast riding up and down the blacktop pathway through Canal Park (I might add that my friend and I are ages 50+ and 60+ - and this activity is great for any age!) There is a huge public parking lot across the street from this attraction. On the... More

I like bikes but didn't bring one with me. I had my "little sister" (59 years- 200 lbs) go along with me and my mother (82 years) - who sat on the bench seat in the middle. We were probably a site to see ourselves! But honestly we all very much enjoyed the ride and we did get a workout!... More

Our "Deuce Coupe" had a pedal come off midway through our ride. No refund was offered. That aside, the thing was easy enough to manage. Being a fixie, it didn't particularly like uphill inclines, but if you're a pair of cyclists, you'll manage. If you're not, there's enough that's flat on the lake path to make a tolerable run.

The name of this attraction is actually Wheel FUN Rentals, not Wheel Run. It's located in Canal Park near the lighthouse, right off the lakeshore path. The rental office is housed in a little white building with lots of surrey bikes outside. You can't miss it:-). We rented the four person surrey bike, which was $30 for one hour. Even... More
