This is a beautiful drive out to the point. Many beautiful houses and old time cabins all set on the water. At the point, there is a old beach house that I went to with my family as a kid 50 years ago! On the beach you can see the whole sand strip all the way back to the city... More

Absolutely love Park Point. Clean sandy beach for as far as the eye can see. The one downside--during summer, too many tourists. As a result, I tend to head to Superior point. Yes, it means driving over that darn bridge that seems to divide the Minnesotans from the Wisconsinites but it is worth it. Off-season, Park Point is wonderful. Zero... More

Its a quirky little Community with some great lake front beaches. This is the largest natural sandbar in the world! Go and see it, walk the beaches and enjoy the lake, even in the winter! More

Drive all the way to the end to Sky Harbor Airport, then park the car and walk over the dunes to stand on the shores of Lake Superior More

Great place to view Lake Superior, have a picnic, or hike several miles roundtrip through a mature Red Pine forest to the Superior entry. Great ice formations in the coldest winters. Rent a bike and ride down to get all the sights. I will tell you the water is cold! You drive thru Canal Park, lots of fun shops and good places to eat. More

Lots of good resturaunts with shopping for everyone. Antique stores, Duluth PAC company, and if your a guy without his family with him you may want to check out a matinee at the historical club Saratoga. More
