Absolutely love Park Point. Clean sandy beach for as far as the eye can see. The one downside--during summer, too many tourists. As a result, I tend to head to Superior point. Great place to view Lake Superior, have a picnic, or hike several miles roundtrip through a mature Red Pine forest to the Superior entry. Great ice formations in the coldest winters. Rent a bike and ride down to get all the sights. I will tell you the water is cold! You drive thru Canal Park, lots of fun shops and good places to eat. More
