Gorgeous view and park!

This is usually where I enter the Lakewalk from, and relax at afterwards. The view is always wonderful, and if you get there around sunset, it can be spectacular!

Very nice portion of the lake walk. Lots of great landscape and the upkeep is superb. Just be aware dogs are not allowed in the Rose Garden.

This is a great place to take a walk, or just sit down and smell the roses and watch the big ships on the lake. It has an amazing view, and the smells are incredible! The amount of pride they take in keeping this place up is admirable. I go here a lot.

Did not get to enjoy the rose garden since it was Nov but the park was grand with walking trails and bridges. And it is an expensive lake front view for free! A must place to stop by.

Ok, this was absolutely fabulous. Bring a meal, wine, etc. Pick a great summer day. Could have taken a nap among the flowers....just great

We end up stopping here every time we go to Duluth. In the spring, summer, and fall. It's a beautiful view of the lake and the roses bloom all the way through October. The fall is also gorgeous with views of the red and orange trees down to the lake. A wonderful place for a leisurly stroll

This is a small park, but a great place to relax in the shade without the worry of dogs or their mess. I am a dog owner and lover, but it is nice that there are places where all can enjoy. The roses are gorgeous and the view of the lake is divine. It is connected to the lakewalk, so... More

My hats off to whomever planned this park over a highway and next to a railroad track-- genius design!! This could have been (maybe it was?) a city eyesore, but the rose gardens, the walk ways, and the beautiful monuments about the park make it appear to have been a part of the city for generations. Refreshing! Do visit. I... More

The roses here are just beautiful! I was there in mid September and they were still lovely! Volunteers tend to the gardens and they do a wonderful job! Much larger than I thought it would be. Free to the public. Well worth a visit on a sunny day

When you're in Duluth, Leif Erickson Park and the Rose Garden are a must! We love to walk the boardwalk from the Canal Park hotels up to the Rose Garden. The Duluth volunteers do a spectacular job on the gardens and the walk is beautiful.
