We enjoyed the alpine coaster several times as well as the zipline ride. There isn't much to do on the mountain, and the prices seem high for the duration of the activities (four rides would equal a day pass at Valleyfair) though it was a unique experience not to be missed.

We recently went with a 7 year old and 4 year old. The chalet chair lift wasn't operational (which was a bummer). It looks like that's where one would get the best views! We did the alpine coaster and "zip line". The coaster was pretty fun; but I'd skip the other.

When we arrived the staff seemed lost or out of sorts. They were slow to acknowledge our presence and the description of the packages and pricing options were made very complicated by the employee behind the counter. We opted for the zip line and the alpine coaster. The alpine coaster was awesome and a great experience. The zip line was... More

It was fun to go and see, but the prices were outrageous. If there was more offered I could understand the price, but it wasnt completely impressive.

I was nervous at first to go on the alpine slide because all I could think about is falling our of the cart or running off the track. Well, I went with my boyfriend and he said if I control the brakes we'll never make it to the end (probably true) but I'm glad he did it. We went full... More

We spent the afternoon mountain biking as a family (kids ages 13,11, and 10). Everyone had a great time. We went when on the weekend when the lifts were open, and parked at the base near the on-site restaurant. For $25 you can ride the lift all day. Nice way to rest between runs and admire the views. The staff... More

I found a Grouponew and thought let's make it a weekend. My boyfriend and I went Friday afternoon at 4 pm, post pub They open then on Friday so they only had a little line, perfect timing. The alpine slide was worth going individually and then as a couple because the extra weight with no braking was invigorating in the... More

I only rated this very good, because I have not skied or boarded Spirit yet. I have been up multiple times for Mountian biking. Each time I go it is even more fun than the last time. with lift service and trails to challege your skill level, you just cant beat Spirit Mountain for down hill biking in the midwest.... More

If you are visiting Duluth you have to go to Spirit Mountain Adventure Park! The Timber Twister is a fun Alpine Coaster ride, they also have a zip line, scenic chair lift ride and mini golf. New this year is that they offer all day wrist bands for $39! What a deal. Beautiful views of Lake Superior too.

We did the zip line and the alpine coaster, the coaster was amazing. I wish we would have bought multiple tickets. However, the lines were long and slow to get tickets.
