Timber twister is fun. Rule number 1. Do not use your brakes. Rule number 2: when in doubt please consult rule number 1. Get plenty of tickets, and figure on doing it over several times.

The kids hit the hills and the Mom's went cross country skiing. They had a blast, and loved it. The lodge here is now at the bottom, I guess I expected a little more. The food and staff was a disappointment to our kids - the kids are paying customers too!

This is way too cool. You can go at your own speed down the mountain. You'll want to get more than one trip ticket. I do not like regular roller coasters but you can go at your own speed down the hill. Make sure you send all your speedy kids down first and then try to enjoy the ride. I... More

To start, we entered the adventure zone area to find the only employee, an obese gentleman with long blonde hair, moving tables around for what appeared to be no reason. We waited at the counter for about 3 minutes before he said he would be with us. About 5 minutes later, while he continued to move the tables around, some... More

Spirit Mountain ski area is great for beginners as well as intermediate skiers. The ski runs are long, the chairlifts are fast and able to seat four skiers at a time. This area is owned by the city of Duluth & they do a great job. There are two ski lodges located on the top as well as on the... More

This is a great ski hill for beginners. If you're looking for a skiing challenge, you won't find it here, but it's a great place to ski with less advanced friends or family and enjoy a cocktail or two in the chalet. Full rental options available and the price was normal for a ski hill (expensive). They offered the Timber... More

Visited Duluth to see our college freshman and decided to visit Spirit Mountain as well. The 60 second tandem zip line was a blast but seeing the leaves on a wonderful fall day was fantastic.
