This is the place to be! Great people watching, pet friendly and lots of shops and restaurants just steps away from the lakewalk. A must-do while in Duluth

My wife and family love to travel to Duluth and when we do, we love to use the Lakewalk system. It is an awesome way to get around Duluth and both my wife and kids love it. Duluth is way ahead of itself, investing in this system. We will certainly be back to Duluth many times and we will certainly... More

A summer walk along Lake Superior has become a family tradition for us. A picnic in the park followed by a homemade malt from the malt shop has become our favorite activity in canal park.

We have done this walk at several times during the year and loved the different conditions each time. Duluth has put a lot into bringing people to the water, and this further helps connect the down town era with Canal Park. Great way to experience Duluth.

Many restaurtants as you get to downtown Duluth. Nice stairs and paths to get up to main street of downtown Duluth to shop and... More

Walk down to the lighthouse, see some ships! Maybe you'll get lucky like we did and see the bridge raise for a ship to go through!

This 3 mile pathalong the lake actually extends now to the edge of Duluth but most folkis enjoy the part that starts in Canal Park and sticks close to the Lake shore. Each time we go there we feel like tourists even though we live here. The Lake is glorious to see and feel if the wind is off it. There... More
