If you like to be outside, to walk, jog, run, bike or prancersize...and you like water...white caps and ocean-worthy vessels....if you like amazing flower gardens and some cute shops and good eats just a few steps off the boardwalk, well, you want to be doing this. And take your time!

Not much to dislike! They did an excellent of constructing this boardwalk. We took two long walks, enjoyed the rose gardens, and had a fabulous breakfast afterward at Valentini's, which is right next to he rose garden.

Nice view, easy access. Could have been a bit longer, but was heavily used by locals and tourists alike.

12.6 mile loop is the longest, plenty of shorter walks also. nice view of the lake, shoreline, buildings, etc.. it was quite windy on the day we walked, but we were very impressed by all the things to do. you could spend 2 days looking around easy. plan to stop back in again and spend more time sightseeing.

We have been to Duluth numerous times and this was the first time we explored the Canal Park Area on foot. We decided to walk the boardwalk. It was clean, well-kept and we really enjoyed walked by the waters of Lake Superior.

Always great to see the boats, the lighthouses and the lift bridge. Lots of places to see and walk around.
