Oh the View!

I like to park by the rose garden and walk to Canal Park to shop, have lunch or buy Chocolate! Such a beautiful walk! Often I see ships coming in as an added bonus.

I am a Duluth native and this is a walkway that is utilized both by tourists and locals. It's very picturesque, being that it's along the shore of Lake Superior, and goes for a long way. There are two sections of the walkway--one for walkers and one for cyclists and rollerbladers. It ends in Canal Park which is an area... More

After lunch my friend and I went for a quick stroll on the Lakewalk. It is beautiful. Snowy today but the ice on the lake was very nice. It's even more beautiful in the summer. Watching the ships come in, jumping in the lake, or taking a bicycle ride. We always bring visitors to Duluth here and it never disappoints!

The lakewalk is a great place to enjoy the city of Duluth with your family. It is a long pathway that starts in lakeside and ends in canal park. Along the way are places where you can stop and get a bite to eat or swim. On a hot day it is awesome to get out and take a run... More

We were here in January and it was too cold to walk for long. That was a disappointment because the views were great and there is some signage giving interesting information about Lake Superior. If I'm ever in Duluth when the temperatures aren't -10 or lower, I will take a long walk!

We drove up to Duluth for the Day spending our time at the Tweed Museum of Art and the Depot before winding up our day exploring the canal park and lake walk. Water is always soothing and we enjoyed a lazy stroll along the lake before tacking the drive back to Minneapolis.

I am lucky enough to work in Canal Park in Duluth, Minnesota. The Lakewalk is a perfect place to work off calories, people watch and just enjoy Lake Superior. In the Spring, watch for dog poop. While people are pretty good about cleaning up after their four legged partners....when the snow melts...there is bound to be a few missed gifts,... More

Love the Lakewalk rite along the shores of Lake Superior, you can walk or bike for miles! Unbelievable scenery with the lake rite there! A must when visiting Duluth!
