Breathtaking views, an easy path, and accessible parking. What more could you want from a hiking trail? Note; I have no idea why TripAdvisor has claimed this is in Duluth. It's VERY much in Lutsen; I used to live just a few miles from it. It's a solid 90 miles from Duluth. Weird.

We visited the parking area to see the view from there, but did not hike. Not able to see anything from that area, but it was a busy place, nice parking area and looked like a great place to take a hike. Beautiful leaf colors!

A very pleasant hike -- less than 3 miles with some ascent. A cafe in Tofte 5 miles away provides good food and soup after the hike, Great for a medium or large dog. The views are spectacular.

This is a slightly strenuous hike, particularly lovely in the spring and fall. Loads of early wildflowers, and a gorgeous view of the Lake and woods once you get to the top.

Oberg mountain is a beautiful hike that is an intermediate level hike. Once the initial climb is made to the top loop the hike is mild around the top and the panoramic views are well worth the hike. The loop trail travels along the ridge in a circular hike with great views to the South, East, North and West. The... More

The views from this mountain are amazing. Some of the best views you can get on a short day hike. This trail is family friendly - I've seen kids as young as ~5 years old, and you can easily hike this loop in an hour

We chose this hike for our last day up north. It was rated moderate, but was a bit easier than I anticipated. Our 6 and 7 year olds had no problem with the trail. The views are pretty and there are opportunities to see (snack on?) some wild raspberries along the trail. NOTE: THIS TRAIL IS NOT IN DULUTH. Not... More

We love this hike for its views. Both inland and outwards towards lake superior. This is a great place to watch the sunset and hear the frogs come out to sing. Once you reach the loop its a very level hike. Its a must do hike for us every time we visit.

This is a great introduction to the NorthShore of Lake Superior an the Superior Hikeing Trail. Especially great views of color in the fall. Not to be missed
