Enger Park is the place to go if you want to see luscious gardens, Japanese inspired rock gardens/ peace bell, and great views! Enger Tower is a must see, it is a five story tall tower that offers 360 degree views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area. Its nice to go there and get away from the busy downtown... More

The Enger Park tower affords a spectacular view of Lake Superior and Duluth. The park is easily accessible off Skyline Drive up a short path from the parking area. Five stories tall, all steps. Free.Must-see for Duluth.

This has long been a favorite for residents and tourists--a definite must-see!! The approach to the park will take you over the Skyline Drive which offers a wonderful vantage point for the whole of the city. Climbing the tower is worth the effort as there is no other attraction in Duluth that allows people to see so much of the... More

After many visits to Duluth I finally made the climb at Enger Park. The tower has a very interesting history, and the climb is quite easy. The grounds are lovely and would be a perfect place for a picnic. Not too crowded either.

The park and gardens are peaceful and lovely on their own, but the real draw is the fantastic views overlooking the Duluth Harbor, the Aerial Lift Bridge, and Park Point. Climb the tower for even broader views.. Expect crowds and wedding groups having their photos shot if you visit on a weekend during wedding season. The Superior Hiking Trail also... More

My wife and I visited on a windy April afternoon and never expected it to be sooo windy. Windier than Fargo and Chicago, but the views are worth it. We didn't bring hats, gloves, or scarves but certainly could have used them. Worth the drive up to see such great views.

With spectacular gardans and a lot of stairs to climb, a spectacular view awaits at the top...I did this hike to the top of the top with my oldest and once we made it to the top he was ready to go. As an adult there is much amazement and wonderment, for a child not as much, I should have... More

The tower is what people show up for and it it nice, with a good view, but the overall park is even more wonderful. Shady and lush paths lead throughout and a pavilion is perched on the side of the hill with a breathtaking view. The first time my daughter saw it, she said, "I am getting getting married here!"... The park is a wonder of Duluth. It was owned by Mr Enger and given to Duluth because he enjoyed coming here for the view. The Rotary Club has done much to improve the park and I'm sure the gardens in the summer are beautiful. The Tower was closed for repairs, when we were there, but should be open now.... More

Walked 6 miles on the Superior Trail, the Enger Tower is located in Enger Park and it provides nice views of the City and Lake. Park was clean with only a small amount of graffiti in the Tower.
