Enger Park is a great place to have a picnic. Shady paved paths, several gardens including a Japanese sister city garden, and, best of all, five-story stone Enger Observation Tower are nestled on a hill above Duluth. The tower is a great place for kids to use up energy and for adults to stretch their legs. From the tower windows and... More

Beautiful park to visit spring, summer, or fall. I love coming here in fall and seeing the changing colors of the leaves. Beautiful view of the city from the tower its self and from the cliff gazebo.

This iconic site is a must for people visiting the area. The view is beautiful. The tower has been part of the Duluth skyline for as long as I can remember.

This park is a little ways up the hills, but once you reach it, the view is breathtaking. It is a bit of a hike up the tower, but the view is indescribable. It is really a must see for anyone that wants to get the 'full picture' of Duluth.

We headed up to Enger Park and Tower to check out the sites and we were not disappointed. The park is lovely and the climb up the tower was easy. The view from the top is spectacular and it was very interesting to see the lake from this vantage point.

We stopped off here while visiting relatives in Duluth. Although the gates were closed we were able to hike up the drive and climb the hill to the tower. There was a coating of light snow making for a beautiful site. We climbed to the top of the tower. What a view!

Just off Skyline Drive in West Duluth is a gem of a park, hosting a Peace Bell froma sister city in Japan and a Tower with Norwegian roots. Come in the summer and enjoy the lovely gardens as well as the view from the cliffs or the Tower.

The gardens are just beautiful, but the best part is the view of the harbor and Duluth from the tower of a rocky cliff. Not to be missed! The history of Enger Tower is quite interesting and reflective of the population's Norwegian past.
