What a terrific place to visit. There is so much to do. There are TONS of places to eat. There are many places to shop. Watching the ships go in and out of the port was so much fun. The shoreline is also fun place to visit.

Fun way to spend an hour or an afternoon! Ships & restaurants are very close. Watching the ships enter the canal and go under the lift bridge was fascinating!

If grandpa wants to sit and watch the people and ships go by, he's got an amazing place to do it. If grandma wants to hit the antique stores while noshing on some homemade fudge, that's covered. If mom and dad want a cocktail while the nanny has the kids climbing the rocks and dodging seagulls bloated with snack food... More

We took the Segway tour to be able to see everything in a short time, otherwise, be prepared to do a lot of walking. Even the walking is a chance to check out each of the vendors.

Canal Park is the focus of Duluth's lakeside activities. One activity that doesn't get mentioned is Canal Park Boat Rentals near the dock where the Vista Queen tour boat departs. A small kiosk is located right by the low blue bridge where people cross to buy tickets for the Vista Queen. Canal Park Boat Rentals rent small electric motor boats... More

Canal Park is a key stop for anyone visiting Duluth. Don't spend too much time in the shops instead walk to the lighthouse, skip stones in the lake and rent a bike to ride up the shore to several lovely stops and parks.

Beautiful sites! See historic Duluth buildings, the Aerial Lift Bridge, watch Salties or Lakers pass their cargo under the bridge. Walk on the lakewalk, walk over the bridge, visit the lighthouses, shop, eat, play, take a cruise, tour a museum, watch the birds, so much to do and see. You can choose to make it $ friendly or $$$$ which... More

Fun place to spend some time walking along the waterfront and people watching. It's nice when it's cold too. Peaceful and beautiful if you can dress warm enough!
