We visited canal park with our 2 year old. We got to see the bridge raise but not for any huge ships. Even still this is a must see with children or not. We all enjoyed the views and seeing everything work. We didn't do a lot of walking but what we did see was worth it.

We loved being in canal park, we walked around and enjoyed some shops. We also walked to the lighthouse and watched a Salty ship come into the harbor and under the lift bridge, it was amazing.

This is always a must do, nice shops, good restaurants, lots to see. There is always something to find yourself doing when in Canal Park, don't miss the museum and the lift bridge.

Canal Park is a great place to start the evening off right. There are plenty of lake front walks, attractions along the lake, and restaurants to choose from. We saw two ships to port, enjoyed a walk along the lakefront, and took in the cool spring breeze off Lake Superior. You will have to pay fro parking if you want... More

Canal park is a lot of fun. Plenty of shops and restaurants to venture in to. You can also rent bikes for the lake walk or take a carriage ride. We were lucky and stayed near so we didnt have to worry about parking.

Every time I visit here it is busy. It's is just so fun to see all the different and unique shops. The variety of restaurants keeps me coming back, I have a list to try on my next visit. There are several municipal parking spots, $3 not bad. You are lucky if you find a parking spot on the street.

Beautiful!! Lot to see and do, parking is limited in the busy summer and especially during events. Then it's best to park across the bridge and walk, which is probably why you're there anyway.

Canal park has several great hotels, a range of good restaurants, ranging from fast food, "natural food," local gems, and fine dining, and wonderful sights: sunrise and sunset over Lake Superior, international boats coming and going through the Aerial Bridge, and the wonderful lake walk. There are also open squares with water spouts, people watching galore, and open terrace patio... More

We stayed in a hotel in canal park and enjoyed the entire time there. The morning sunrises over the lake, the lake walk morning and evening and the activities during the days. It was a great time of observing families, couple and singles enjoying the sites and sounds of the big water and draw of the boats coming to harbor... More
