Something for everybody. Watch ships, feed the seagulls, ride bike, walk the dog, fun variety of restaurants and food, relax by the lake.

I live here, and there is not a day that goes by that we don't go down by the lake and take a walk on the board walk. Sometimes when we know there is one of the larger ships coming in we will go down in the evening. There is nothing more romantic then going in the evening, when the... More

It was snowing, lightly, and the businesses were all open late. Our family enjoyed the shopping, and it reminded us of our childhoods. No Mall for us! We will be back.

A really nice place to go for a stroll on a sunny day - an interesting mix of restaurants, small businesses and the ability to circle around behind all the major hotels in the area and walk along the waterfront. Also great views of a large functioning lift bridge make it a memorable spot to spend a few hours.

It's a great spot for taking pictures, checking out the bridge and seeing some nautical related exhibits.

this locations is great for watching the ships. This is also where to go to watch the Duluth lift bridge. There are also lots of sea galls to feed of you want. The lake walk goes along the lake for a great view of Duluth.

Our trips to Canal Park are never exactly the same. There are so many choices for eating and all the different shops, there are many to choose from. Walking around the park with a Grandmas ice cream cone, looking for cool rocks on the shore and waiting for 1000ft ships to come in is always fun.

Canal Park is beautiful in the summer, and it is a wonderful experience to check out all the shops when the sun is shining. You will not be disappointed by the uniqueness of the old buildings, and the craftsmanship of the products sold. I usually leave with a smile and too many bags.

Spring to Fall this is a great place to be. Winter weekends are more fun than one would think, as the Lake takes on a whole different feeling. Shops are not as busy in Winter. Wander around the shops and look at Lake Superior. Ore Ships will pass by for additional entertainment. Most concerts in the Duluth area are held... More

Great for walking to local shops, art galleries and different pubs. In the summer you can walk all along the shores of the lake. I would suggest in the spring and winter, have your woollies on for walking. Lots of different coffee shops and restaurants
