Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

Canal Park is a good place to view the lake and the sea gulls. There is a small, free museum which you could spend 30 minutes or so viewing.

We ended a day trip to Duluth in Canal Park watching people of which there were plenty, boats of where there were slightly fewer and bridges of which there were 2 that rose.

Canal Park is a great location with lots to see and do! Lots of hotels, restaurants, shops and places to see. Just a short walk to the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center from the hotels in Canal Park! Has the Aerial Lift Bridge and other attractions! Great spot to visit in Duluth!

We went up to Duluth in Dec. to spend the day and see Bentleyville. What a nice surprise that parking in canal park is now free until the middle of May. I still prefer the summer months but this was a nice perk. Thanks !

The Canal Park area of Duluth is great to park the car and explore! There are many great restaurants and shops, and you can walk across the Lift Bridge and explore another cute neighborhood/area of Duluth. Feels like southern CA, even in January with the cute beach homes and walk along the beach (even with frozen sand). We were also... More

visited in early october, and there are tons of shops and resteraunts that are open. Its right by the shoreline so its beautiful at night when the sky is turning and the bridge lights up. Also, there is a caribou coffee and tons of artsy shops. Super fun and family friendly!

One of my favorite and missed places I have been. Every day after work I would walk the total length of Lake walk and then reward myself at one of the many establishments in the Park.
