Our most recent visit to this treasure was early Fall. The leaf colors had not changed yet, but there was plenty of botanical beauty to be had. The winding trails take you past countless varieties of plants and landscaping features, and when you are weary of walking, there is a 3-mile drive past gardens and groves, with places to pull-over... Beautifully landscaped flowers gardens. The café food is also good. Many beds of flowers and a lot of different areas to walk around. There is a fee to enter unless you are a member which I encourage if you can get there a few times a year. I try to make it in the summer and then in the Fall.

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a world within itself. It offers walking trails, streams and benches along the way if you want to pause and take in the beauty. The flowers are vibrant in color and creatively arranged creating magnificent views. The shrubs and trees are equally manicured to enhance natural vistas. A true wonderland of beauty. This wonderfully laid out nature conservatory is truly worth the visit; no matter if you wish to wander through the woods, take in beautiful flower gardens or learn about various plants and how they thrive in Minnesota weather. The University of Minnesota went all out to provide a fantastic outdoor experience. The rose garden is not to be missed during... More

During a visit with friends in Victoria, MN we made time to visit the Arboretum. It was a highlight of our trip. The glass/metal sculptures by Craig Mitchell Smith were a special delight, especially since we had recently visit the Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanical Gardens. The Arboretum had an extensive display of flowers, shrubs, grasses and trees. A... More

Loved this place! Got the most amazing photos! Only weak part was kids educational center actually. Nothing really going on and not much interactive exhibits for them! Loved the maze and the restaurant was really family friendly for our party of 15!!

This place is one of the best arboretums that I know about, and I have visited many of them throughout the country. The diversity of plants is exceptional and the facilities are well-maintained and organized. Lunch in the restaurant was quite good.Plant lovers delight

This place blew us away by it's size, beauty, information, quality and depth. Based on a recommendation by a friend we started our visit with an hour long tram ride about the park to get a narrated tour of what's there. We highly recommend that. Then we drove the same loop in our car and stopped at the various gardens... More
