Got a room here due to a snow storm and had to get off the road. Thestaff were friendly and accommodating. We chose a room in the old section. Definitely needed upgrading. Suggest if tou stay here take a tower room. The price was right, the bed comfortable and the buffet excellent.

Overwhelming smoke filled native run casino. There is a bowling alley, small kids arcade, buffet, and hotel on site. Staff was fairly rude and treated you like you were a trespasser. Kids were running up and down the hallways screaming and knocking stuff over. Staff did not seam to care. Drive a half hour south of Highway 35 to casino... More

Hotel needs update and rooms are antiquated. In fact might still have original bedding. The casino itself is much cleaner with bar service and reasonable drinks.

The food is really awesome. It is a casino, so there is a lot of other fun as well. Be sure to try the restaurant too.

The Seven Fires restaurant at the Black Bear Casino is outstanding. Whether eating lunch or dinner this place is hard to beat. You can watch the chefs cooking from your table. I like the bone in Rib Eye in the evening and for lunch they make a Roast Turkey and Gravy sandwich that's just awesome. Dinner usually cost me and... More

I could say many things both positive and negative about this place. The thing that stood out most to me tonight was the male bartender with the black pony tail. He was rude and condescending. There were many people waiting for service. He was too busy talking about his personnel conquests and life experience to wait on customers. There was... More

We were at Jay Cooke state park and wanted a nice lunch. The steak tip appetizer was almost a meal by itself with mashed potatoes as part of the dish. The salad and prime rib sandwich were both very good at a very reasonable price. I wasn't sure way so many people were waiting for the buffet at the other... More

Very busy. Lots of people. Not sure how I feel about smoking everywhere. Wish it was smoke free. Went home smelling like a ashtray.

The cascino is pretty smokey and loud, like others. Not sure if they have a smoke-free section, but that would be really nice.

Doesn't like to pay out often, but was still fun. A bit smokey, but you need to expect that at casinos.
