Stayed here with my husband one night on 5/5/12. Check in went smoothly, stayed in room 6028 in the tower. Room seemed large. View top of adjacent building, and parking lot. Room had one fairly comfortable king bed with at least 4 pillows, fake-leather recliner, and a little table by recliner. Also had desk, and plenty of drawer space, iron... More

We've stayed in the tower rooms several times and have never been disappointed. The buffet is top notch and the deli makes a great pizza! The Munger Trail is just a quick car ride to witness some spectacular scenery! More

If you're in the mood to overeat, the Casino buffet delivers. Lots of choices. Most taste good. I'd put it above say Old Country Buffet but below a knock-out buffet that casino's tend to be known for. That said, great value and good food. Sometimes that's all you can ask for. (downside is the facility is smoking/impossible to not pick... More

We stay at the Black Bear Casino and Hotel when we visit Duluth. It is 20 miles away. It is also 20 miles from Cromwell where my Aunt lives. We do not go to Casinos very often. This is the only one. We do not smoke and this one has a newer air ventilation system so we do not smell... More

My title says it all. Games were great I won about $30. Buffet was average, but don't they have air vents to let fresh air in? More

Every hotel around the Duluth area seemed very expensive and right on the highway, so we decided to stop and ask at the casino about their rates. They were half of all the other rates around! Our stay was very pleasant and the room was clean and away from any noise. We were able to park our car close to... More

Great buffet, clean room, undercover parkade. Unfortunately parkade is a long walk thru the casino to get to the hotel lobby. BUt is is great to get the car out of the snow, especially the year we got snowed in there for 2 days!! More

We enjoyed the casino, won on the slots. But the hotel was very bad. Since we couldn't get in anywhere else we had no choice but to stay 2 night. The carpet was very stained and worn.It had to be at least 30 years old becasue it was the same carpet my family had in the 70's. The room we had was... More
